Featuring: Leodin, Auriel
[3:20 PM] REWlego: Leodin is doing his normal patrol of the rooftops of Freyzenwald. He's near the main plaza, trying to remain hidden behind various objects.
[3:25 PM] Nepgear: Sticking to hiding among alleyways and rooftops, Auriel is skulking on the rooftops in Freyzenwald. Should have brought more money... eh, ill just rob someone. Not like i am above that.
[3:42 PM] Nepgear: Skulking along the rooftops, Auriel quite suprisingly notices a person standing on the roof next to her. "He looks wealthy i suppose..."
[3:46 PM] Nepgear: Focusing her magic abilities, Auriel grabs one of the freeze staves from her backpack, before taking aim and attempting to freeze the person
[3:48 PM] Nepgear: It hits, and Auriel takes it as her cue, running over and inspecting the person for any valuables, before settling on a small pouch and running away. She used a little bit too much time though, and the magic ended before she was completely out of sight.
[3:50 PM] REWlego: What the-
After the magic wears off, Leodin turns to see the masked figure running away as he charges after her.
[3:56 PM] Nepgear: Realizing she wont escape this one as easily, she stops and darts to the side near the edge, trying to make him fall, before running the other way.
[3:57 PM] REWlego: Leodin knows the roofs well enough to effortlessly make the turn while keeping his momentum.
[4:01 PM] Nepgear: "This one does not give up does he? Of all the people....." She continues until she is at the other edge.
[4:08 PM] REWlego: The space between the two shrinks as Leodin gets closer and closer to the criminal.
[4:11 PM] Nepgear: Stalling for time, or perhaps just waiting for him to lunge, Auriel shouts "You really dont give up.... do you?" She prepares a knife in her sleeve.
[4:14 PM] REWlego: Leodin sees her standing there and grinds to a halt in front of her.
"I don't appreciate crime in Amaterasu."
[4:19 PM] Nepgear: "Arent we quite the hero here?"
[4:25 PM] REWlego: Leodin draws his jet-black sword.
"Why don't we let Morderrand decide."(edited)
[4:26 PM] Nepgear: "Funny. Did your little brother come up with that? Actually..... i have better things to do..."
[4:32 PM] Nepgear: She abruptly dashes at Leodin, intending to get a suprise slash off, then runs past him to the middle of the roof.
[4:36 PM] REWlego: Leodin is caught off guard and is knocked to the ground, but jumps back up and lunges at the mysterious woman.
[4:40 PM] Nepgear: Dodging the attack, she taunts the "hero" "Hmph. Predictable" She attempts to hit his sword arm with a swing.
[4:43 PM] REWlego: The blade is momentarily knocked out of his left hand, but he reaches over and catches it his right hand, bringing the blade back around at her.
[4:47 PM] Nepgear: Getting overconfident, Auriel takes the brunt of the hit, but counters with slash that would be nearly lethal if it hit
[4:52 PM] REWlego: Leodin takes the hit and is knocked to the ground, unable to get back up.
[4:54 PM] Nepgear: "Heh, look kid. I can go for the kill here, but you seem like a good sport, so ill just take this as my reward instead" Auriel taunts him by tossing th bag up and down in her right hand.
[4:55 PM] REWlego: "Ugh... I underestimated you..."
[4:59 PM] Nepgear: "Suppose you did. By the way, the ledge is dangerously near... what do you think would happen if i pushed you a little towards it?"
[5:00 PM] REWlego: "I know these rooftops well enough... I won't be killed by you."
[5:01 PM] Nepgear: "I mean... your neck is dangerously exposed here. You are at my mercy."
[5:03 PM] REWlego: "Then why don't you kill me? You seem very overconfident right now..."
[5:04 PM] Nepgear: "Look... Can't you scream and be scared like they usually are? Id prefer that to this...."
[5:09 PM] REWlego: "Of course not... I won't give you that satisfaction."
[5:11 PM] Nepgear: "Sigh... you are no fun."
[5:11 PM] REWlego: "A good fight can be fun under the right circumstance."
[5:12 PM] Nepgear: "When they trash and scream that is...."
[5:13 PM] REWlego: "Why do you find enjoyment in that?"
[5:14 PM] Nepgear: "Well, why wouldn't i?"(edited)
[5:15 PM] REWlego: "Most would find it sadistic or even insane..."
[5:18 PM] Nepgear: "Mhm.... Suppose i am then giggle...."(edited)
[5:22 PM] REWlego: Leodin scoffs
"I will get my money back...*
[5:30 PM] Nepgear: "Hey, calm down. You are in no position to make demands. Heck, you might even die up here. Bleeding is a serious matter.."
[5:35 PM] REWlego: "I won't take threats from you either."
Leodin rolls backwards and stands back up, holding his sword out in front of him.
[5:37 PM] Nepgear: "Sorry kiddo, but i wont stick around for round two. Later!" Auriel runs away.
[5:39 PM] REWlego: "Then I'll bring it to you!"
He runs after her.
[5:43 PM] Nepgear: "Woah.. Ive killed a lot of people in my day, but you are something else. Can you do this?" Auriel jumps to the other roof.
[5:45 PM] REWlego: "Please..."
Leodin leaps head-first, landing in a roll to keep his momentum.
[5:47 PM] Nepgear: "Running out of ideas here..." "Oh, i got it!" Auriel stabs the pouch onto one of her signature daggers, and throws it to the side.
[5:48 PM] Nepgear: "Its me or that kiddo! See you around!"
[5:49 PM] REWlego: Leodin makes a split second decision and decides it's best to catch the criminal, and quickens his pace
[6:02 PM] Nepgear: Realizing this is going nowhere, Auriel decides one last ploy. "Say kid. How about you leave me for now... and nobody here dies tonight. Not me, not you. Not some bystanders either. Hostages are easy enough to come by."
[6:03 PM] REWlego: "Why don't we decide on a time and place to meet again? Then we can settle this properly."
[6:04 PM] Nepgear: "Heh, reasoning with me now? I think i decide on that." Say, dont you think the princesses could use some extra assistance?"(edited)
[6:04 PM] Nepgear: "Someone could get hurt over there you know."
[6:05 PM] REWlego: "You.... You wouldn't dare try to harm them!"
[6:05 PM] Nepgear: "Oh i would. Do you honestly doubt it?"
[6:06 PM] REWlego: "Are you after them because of their status?"
[6:07 PM] Nepgear: "Why would i? Heh, do you think they will scream? Anyway, later! Keep the knife, something to remember me by."
[6:08 PM] REWlego: Leodin scoffs
"Fine.... I suppose this encounter can be declared a draw."
[6:10 PM] REWlego: Leodin went back to go and collect his pouch of gold
