In the Shishinsen Garden everything had already been set up for Jean's Birthday Party thanks to Valentinus and the two Wyverns. Angard looked back towards the entrance to the Garden.
"Hmmm...I'm surprised no one has come yet but I guess it is still early." Angard turned to Nero.
"I'm going to be going to get Jean. If any of the people invited come be sure to greet them. If they're not invited scare them off or something." Angard flew off to pick up Jean.
[7:44 PM] Mongstrong: Understood. See you in a moment, then.
Valentinus. If anybody comes along, ask them their name. If they are not on the list, we have permission to frighten them to their wit's end.
Nero rumbles, pawing at the ground.
Is it wrong of me that I would find that amusing?
[7:46 PM] Lawls: "Eh, naaaah."
Valentinus said with a smile, fiddling with his tome at his side
"Think of it as payment having to wear a party hat"
The rider states with a chuckle as he thinks of the way to scare people
[7:48 PM] Mongstrong: Not payment enough, in my opinion. But I digress.
Nero shakes his head, the party hat wobbling back and forth comically. He grunts his disapproval.
How on earth is this going to scare people?
[7:50 PM] Lawls: "Hm... Maybe like..."
Jarring his bottom teeth out, he 'bites' his lip and tosses his party hat to the side
"This? Are ya spooked?"
[7:53 PM] Mongstrong: Nero stares back, tilting his head.
...No, not particularly.
[7:54 PM] Lawls: "Ah well just screech like you did to that woman. That'll get them well and truly spooked."
Valentinus said with a smile, scratching his wyverns head(edited)
[8:07 PM] Mongstrong: ...Which woman are we talking about, again? Hag 1 or Hag 2?
[8:08 PM] Lawls: "Either or."
Valentinus chuckled and looked to the list of people again
...I know like, no one on here.
[8:52 PM] eSt tier unit: Tori walked through the halls of Shinshiden looking for the garden. The sudden invitation she only saw earlier this morning gave her little time to prepare but she was able to prepare a small gift before coming.
Should be right around....here....
She continued straight until she reached the entrance of the garden where she spotted a Wyvern guarding the door, though it clearly wasn't Angard. A little closer and she was able to see a brown haired man.
"Is this where the birthday is happening?" She asked.
[9:01 PM] Mongstrong: Nero looks over the woman, not making a peep in response. He glances back at Valentinus.
Ask her name, would you kindly?
[11:59 PM] Lawls: "Yes it is... What is your name?" The rider states as he looks down to the list
[12:24 AM] eSt tier unit: "Tori, actually I have this invitation here."
She shows Valentinus her invitation.
[12:29 AM] Lawls: "Mhm... Yep! That is my hand writing."
Valentinus smiles and gets out a party hat and holds said hat out in front of him
"Just take this and head ins- Oh wait..."
Retracting his party hat hand, he puts forward his other hand with an open palm.
"My name is Valentinus by the way and this is Nero."
He states whilst looking to Nero
[12:32 AM] Mongstrong: A gruff snort serves as his introduction to the woman.
[12:35 AM] eSt tier unit: "Pleased to meet you, Valentinus and Nero."
Tori takes the party hat and walks in.
[12:37 AM] Lawls: Oh... Probably does not like handshakes...
Valentinus suddenly becomes saddened, but not for long as he looks at the woman happily
"Enjoy the party!"
[4:50 PM] Mikaboo: Vivianna pats herself down. Well she had been getting better, those days where she was stuck in the bed showed. She was a little smaller now and her eyes seems to have permintate dark rings under them. Still she had tried to look her best for Jean's big day. She had even pinned her hair up into something nice. Her dress is simple and short. "Hey! This is where the party is right?" She had tried to drag Sula along but he promised he'd come a little later.
[3:48 AM] Lawls: The rider looks up and smiles
"O-Oh, Hello there uhm..."
Valentinus looks through his list
"Vivianna. Here come right this way. Oh! Don't forget a party hat!"
The male smiles as he looks to his wyvern, hoping he wouldn't react in a volatile way
[4:58 AM] Mongstrong: Nero is, no doubt much to Valentinus' relief, politely silent. A simple nod of the head is what Vivianna receives as her greeting. The party hat on his head wobbles forth a little.
[8:19 PM] Mikaboo: She smiles back and walks in, putting on the hat.
[10:24 PM] Lawls: "Have a nice time!"
The friendly rider smiles as he looks over to his list.
"Hmm... two down. However many to go."
Valentinus smiles as he looks and smiles to his wyvern
[3:09 PM] ColdToiletSeat: Gah, how could I be late to something like this? Kalenzo thought, running down the street with an almost business-man like stride. His eyes widened and his teeth began to grit a little as a bit of healthy panic began to inspire his steps.
...Oh right, I had to get him this gift. He remembered, slowing his walk as the entrance to Shishinden garden came into view and there hadn't any visible sign of celebration. Looking down at the neatly wrapped parcel, a smile appeared on the man's face as he kept walking, eager to see the look on Jean's face when he sees this handcrafted work of art. Stepping into the garden, the man looked around before noticing the other partygoers enjoying themselves.
"Hello there!" The man chimed, giving a small wave and a closed-eye smile to the one handing out hats.(edited)
[5:58 AM] Lawls: "Uh... H-Hello! ...Uh...Pstt.. Nero do you know this guy?"
Valentinus looked clueless to the artist as he went through his list
Yeah uh... Who... Is this guy?
He stated looked questioningly at the archer
[6:23 AM] ColdToiletSeat: Kalenzo tool note of Valentinus' confused expression before taking a step forward and placing free hand back under the present.
"I had received a personal invitation to come here, my name is Kalenzo, does that help any?"
[6:28 AM] Lawls: Petting his wyvern idley the male finds the name "Kalenzo"
"O-Oh, here we are. Kalenzo... It's nice to meet you. My name is Valentinus and this is Nero."
He mutters with a childlike smile, offering a hand as a handshake and a party hat in the other hand
[7:06 AM] ColdToiletSeat: "Valentinus eh? That's quite a nice name." He complimented, smiling as he moved his hand once more in order to reciprocate the gesture. With the same smile, he shifted his attention to the fluffy wyvern before accepting the party hat after the brief shake.
"As with you, Nero." Kalenzo added before standing himself up straight and looking back at Valentinus, "As for my present, is there anywhere for me to put it?"
[7:21 AM] Lawls: The mage smiles gleefully as he accepts the compliement, looking over to the table filling up nicely with presents up the back he points to it
"Over there, just place it on the table."
He states with a genuine smile, looking at the rugged archer
He is quite nice.
[7:27 AM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: A few minutes after the excited shrieks of another wyvern could be heard from afar with a familiar voice speaking alongside it.
"Where are you taking me Angard and why are you so excited? And to think I would be able to get some sleep today...."
[7:30 AM] Lawls: "T-That's the cue guys!"
Valentinus stated in a quiet hush, shifting the table just a bit to make room to hide
"Everyone get down and hide."
The mage stated as he petted his wyvern and crouched down, ready to surprise him. Conjuring up his own spell in his hands
I practiced this silly trick for him... Now hopefully this doesn't freeze everyone in the room...
[9:50 PM] eSt tier unit: Tori ran toward the nearest table and hid behind it.(edited)
[9:52 PM] ColdToiletSeat: "Thank you very much, I- oh!" Kalenzo exclaimed, his voice quickly hushing as he took care to place his present on the table before hiding behind the cloth draped over it.
[5:05 AM] Mongstrong: Nero glances about the garden, a tight frown on his face, baring his back teeth. He brings one claw up to his neck, and scratches.
Where on earth am I supposed to hide, Valentinus? I am at least twice your size-
Then it hits him. A tall tree stands near the centre of the garden, ornamental in appearance but serviceable in size. He grunts, knowing it will prove inadequate, but he trudges over regardless.
Hold that thought.
And though the trunk eventually finds itself covered in claw marks and a rather telling pile of leaves and broken branches sits beneath the tree, Nero manages to conceal himself in its canopy as best as he can manage, his tail and head only slightly poking out and a sour look on his face.
First the party hat, now this. I am beginning to see why the Kurong do not share such celebratory traditions.
[5:14 AM] Lawls: The mage stifles a laugh and looks towards the might Kurong wyvern and mouths
"Thank yoooooooooou!"
As he continues charging and channeling his surprise spell
[4:33 PM] Mikaboo: Vivi looked around and hide herself under the table. She hadn't know it was going to be a surprise party! She has to stop herself from giggling.
[4:40 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: It was long after that Angard came into the garden with Jean following closely behind.
"What did you want to come here for? I mean it's a nice garden and all but...." As the young man looked around he noticed the plethora of food and party like items around.
"Hmm. Perhaps we shouldn't have come here Angard. I think that someone has a party set up here..."
[4:43 PM] Lawls: Valentinus gets stage fright and his spell hand trembles as he jumps up and casts his spell to the sky
"Supris-"
He cuts himself off as he looks up, It seems the spell did not work and he clicked his fingers a couple of times while muttering under his breath
"OhcmonIcan'tmessup..."
Finally one click and the spell finally resolved, little bits of glimmering ice fell from where he cast the spell (the sky) and they acted like mini confetti
"Surprise Jean!"
[4:44 PM] Mikaboo: "Surprise!" She hops up.
[4:45 PM] ColdToiletSeat: Kalenzo fumbled around, quickly trying to put his party hat on before succeeding and standing himself up all the while yelling "Surprise!" like all the others.
Good gods, I don't know what all these people are doing...(edited)
[4:47 PM] Mongstrong: A deafening roar rings out from within the tree's leaves. Nero's head snakes out slowly, his party hat now slightly lopsided.
Surprise.
[4:50 PM] eSt tier unit: Seeing what Valentinus did, Tori casted a mini-explosion over head to create a small fireworks effect.
"SURPRISE!"
[4:54 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: Hearing the multitudes of surprises, two shrieking wyverns, and the magic being cast Jean just gave everyone a confused look.
"Hu..hu..Buh? Did I um...Sorry did you think I was someone else because I think I ruined the moment. Who is this party for anyway?"
[4:56 PM] Lawls: Valentinus has to stop gawking at the womans magical prowess as he turns to Jean and smiles his usual smile
"Nonono Jean... We put this surprise party up for you"
When the male points to the flirtatious male, a small touch of magical sparkles come out and he tries to shake off his hand
[5:07 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: "Huh? A surprise party for me? What for?" Jean thought for a bit.
"Well it is my birthday but I've never told anyone in the army my...." Jean's eyes glazed over to Nero then over to Valentinus then back to Nero then over to his own wyvern. Slowly it dawned on him how this was all set up. Jean turned to his own wyvern.
"Did you set up a surprise party...for me?" Angard nodded.
"Well um....I mean it's quite unexpected I can say that but well..." He happily gave his wyvern a hug.
"Thank you Angard. I really appreciate it!" The wyvern let out a relieved and joyous shriek as she lovingly nudged Jean's cheek.
"I guess I need to thank Valentinus and Nero as well for helping set this up."
Well at least I assumed how this happened. I have no clue how Angard would have done this all by herself.(edited)
[5:13 PM] Lawls: "Hehe... No problem! Couldn't have done this without the help of Angard... Y'know, Asking in the first place."
Valentinus smiled and realised something, he picked up two party hats. One large one for Angard and a smaller one for Jean
"You two look like you're missing something."
He offered the two the party hats with a cheeky smile
[5:25 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: Jean just looked at the two party hats he received.
I'll put this on when General Valenheim himself comes back and commands me to.
"Ummm. I'll put this on later Valentinus. Just not right now." However it seemed that Angard wanted to put her party hat on so Jean helped her with that task. He then turned back to his guest.
"So first of all I would like to thank you all for coming to this surprise party for me. I really appreciate you all taking time out of your busy schedules to all make it here today and um....yeah go have fun. Thank you."
I really have no clue what you're supposed to do at a party for yourself....
[7:42 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: ===Time Skip===
[10:21 PM] Wyvern Lord: --pre timeskip--
"Oh crud, i'm super late! talking to that man was a mistake!"
Ariana ran through the streets as fast as she could to reach that party, in her hand was an old work out potato sack
"I hope gene appreciates the present i got him, i spent a whole day getting it"
--Post timeskip outside the garden--
phwew, i finally made it to shinnisenden garden
Ariana is now just standing awkwardly outside an entrance to the park, waiting for someone to greet her
[3:57 AM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: Jean was eating some of the food that was around when he saw "Ariana" just awkwardly standing there. With a heavy sigh Jean stood up and went over to the woman.
"So did you come here for the party or did you just so happen to get lost again?"
[4:11 AM] Lawls: Valentinus looked on whilst sipping his drink, trying to be inconspicuous but failing miserably, all the while sipping the drink that the three got. Looking on with his wyvern friend
...Wonder who that is...
[5:52 AM] Wyvern Lord: "Weeeeeeeeeeell I did get an invitation to come here, aaaaand I did get a little lost on the way here"
She shoves the bag in her hands into jeans face
"But I did remember to get you a present!...That's a human thing to do yeah? Buy a present for every year?"
[6:00 AM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: Flabbergasted by the bag that was unceremoniously shoved into his face he quickly recomposes himself before he puts it under his arm.
"Yes I do believe it is. I guess Manaketes don't really celebrate birthdays considering how long-lived you all are huh?"
[6:06 AM] Wyvern Lord: "We do sorta celebrate them, but only every 100 years do we have a big party like this"
"Well enjoy your present gene, I hope you'll love it"
[6:07 AM] Wyvern Lord: (The contents of the bag are being pm'd now)
[6:17 AM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: "Uuum....well thank you. I must say that this is the most unique assortment of gifts I've ever received."
I could have at least given the meat to Angard if it didn't look like it's been with this woman since birth....

She leans a bit on her side and scans the area behind Jean
"I guess I'll find a spot to sit, maybe next to that adorable fuzzy Wyvern"
[6:32 AM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: That's one of her own scales? I don't know if that's endearing or if that's just plain creepy....
"Alright then you sit next to Nero. Just treat him with the dignity and respect he deserves alright?"
[6:34 AM] Wyvern Lord: "I'm gonna pet his silly little fuzzy head cause he's a little cutey baby Wyvern"
[6:35 AM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: "Yes yes. He is a cutey little baby wyvern indeed."
[6:46 AM] Wyvern Lord: She runs up to Nero to give him a good pat

[2:27 PM] Mongstrong: Nero turns about, coming face to face with the manakete. He stares at her for a brief moment, taking in the name of "Mr. Fuzziwuzzikins", before he turns his head away slightly, still keeping an eye on her.

[2:45 PM] Wyvern Lord: Pat pat pat
[7:21 PM] Lawls: "Wha? Who is special-"
The mage looks to the pointy ear dragon lady petting his wyvern
"Uhm... Hello?"
...Did I seriously conk out in the middle of looking at Jean and this chick.
[7:33 PM] Wyvern Lord: She doesn't hear Val and continues her patting
"Whose a good little Wyvern? Whose a good little fluffy Wyvern? You are! You are!"
[7:47 PM] Mongstrong: Nero slowly shuffles away, his neck arched back in an uncomfortable fashion.
Valentinus, it is touching me. Please make it stop, and promptly.
[7:47 PM] Lawls: "Hellooooo? Miss?"
Valentinus began to shift the womans hand off the wyverns head(edited)
[8:05 PM] Wyvern Lord: "H-hey! Who are you? And why are you touching me?"
[8:10 PM] Lawls: "My name is Valentinus... Why are you petting my friend"
Valentinus stated as he looked at Nero and mouthed "Sorry" to him. Wondering if he didn't like the stranger or the petting.
[8:21 PM] Mongstrong: "Who are you and why are you touching me?" ...This human cannot be serious. Surely not.
Nero snakes his neck forth, peering at the manakete closely. He snorts gruffly, blowing air at the stranger.
...Is this even a human?
[8:26 PM] Wyvern Lord: "I'm petting him cause he's adorable! Look at his cute little scales and fluffy mane!"
[8:28 PM] Lawls: Sca...les?
Shaking his head, Valentinus continues to stop the woman from petting his friend
"Well you can't just run up to a wyvern and start pettin' him... No matter how cute he may be."
The mage stared at the womans ears, quite intensely after speaking.

Nero turns away, peering around for Angard or Jean.
Who is this person, and where can I go to avoid them?
[8:42 PM] Wyvern Lord: "But he was right there, all lonely and sad. So i had to cheer him up"
She reaches out to scratch Nero's chin
"Isn't that right fluffers?"(edited)
[8:44 PM] Mongstrong: Nero abruptly turns around, baring his teeth and hissing.
What part of no do you fail to understand, wench? Even the ogre-woman left of her own accord.
[8:47 PM] Lawls: "I was here..."
The mage stated as he looks at the wyvern hissing at the woman
"Hey hey hey, It's pretty obvious Nero doesn't wanna be touched lady."
...She doesn't look all that old... Oh! I know
"Uhm, if you wouldn't mind me asking. Are you a... Kitsune?"
The axe wielding rider looks to Nero with a smile, hoping this gets her off his friend
[8:56 PM] Wyvern Lord: "Huh? No I'm not a Kiltnusay. I'm a dragon!"
She says with a big grin on her face, ignoring the poor Wyvern for a second
"Much bigger and scarier and cooler than a fox!"
[9:42 PM] Mongstrong: Nero's expression of derision is soon replaced with one of confusion.
...A dragon? She looks awfully human to me...
[9:44 PM] Lawls: "A dragon...?"
Valentinus looks up in the air to find 'dragons' in his brain... He remembers he read a book about them once
"Oh... Like... A manakete!"
Valentinus was quite interested in the woman now, looking especially to her dragon features(edited)
[10:12 PM] Wyvern Lord: "Yeah I'm a manakete! Super cool isn't it? You should see me in my big cool form!"
[10:19 PM] Lawls: Valentinus' eyes seem to sparkle as he looks at the dragon
"Woah... Wait you can transform..."
Remembering something really quickly, he turns to his fuzzy friend
"...So she isn't a human Nero... But a dragon!"
The childish smiling male looked to his friend with widened eyes(edited)
[10:24 PM] Mongstrong: Nero tilts his head.
...I refuse to believe it, until I see it. A human becoming a dragon? Impossible.
[10:44 PM] Wyvern Lord: "Can I go back to patting the Wyvern now? Cause if not I'm gonna go get something to eat"
[10:45 PM] Lawls: "Well uh..."
Looking to his wyvern, he quickly gets an idea
"Nero says he doesn't believe you're a dragon."
[10:47 PM] Wyvern Lord: "You sure? I was listening and it sounded like he said he wants me to pat him more"

[10:58 PM] Mongstrong: The wyvern responds by shoving the manakete away with his head.
Touch me again, and there will be teeth involved.
[10:59 PM] Lawls: "...He obviously doesn't want to be pet... Uhm... Uhhh"
...Did she tell me her name?
Val has a deep blank look of "what is her name" on his face, while stopping the woman from petting the wyvern(edited)
[11:50 PM] Mongstrong: Nero sits around looking generally displeased.
[11:54 PM] Wyvern Lord: "Oh sorry, my name is Ariana. At Least that's what I'm supposed to tell you it is... Pretend you didn't hear that last bit"
[11:56 PM] Lawls: "Ah, Ariana. Nice to meet you."
The mage smiled happily as he realises he needs introduce himself
"My name's Valentinus and this is Nero."
Valentinus nudges his wyvern playfully, hoping that he'd introduce himself
[11:59 PM] Wyvern Lord: Looking back at the Wyvern she starts talking to it
"grrr, raaaaar, graaah raaaaraaaroo"
And now back to Val
"I said hi to him too"
[12:13 AM] Mongstrong: Nero gives the woman an odd look.
...If she is truly speaking wyvern, that is... a rather strange way to introduce yourself.
At Valentinus' nudge, he begrudgingly answers in kind.
Fine. Greetings, Ariana the Strange.
[12:16 AM] Lawls: "Huh... You can speak wyvern Ariana?"
Valentinus looked on as his friend screeched at the woman in response
[12:17 AM] Mongstrong: Valentinus, she thinks I enjoy being treated like some pet. You think she can actually understand me?
[12:18 AM] Lawls: "...Good point."
Valentinus looked back to his friend as he scratched the back of his head with a slight embarassed smile on his face
[12:33 AM] Wyvern Lord: "I speak lots of languages! Though I don't actually know how to speak Wyvern. Luckily, Wyverns aren't very smart"(edited)
[12:49 AM] Mongstrong: Nero's glare is icy, with plenty of malice behind it. Baring his teeth, he leans in closely to the manakete.
Valentinus. I want this worthless bag of meat out of my sight, before I am forced to devour it. I will not stand for this. Clearly manaketes are no different from humans at all.
[12:52 AM] Lawls: "Uh... H-Hey! How bout I show you where to get some food. You said you were hungry right?"
The awkward rider placed a hand on the womans back and almost shooed her away to the food table(edited)
[1:05 AM] Wyvern Lord: "Ohhhhh... I'll be back to pet you more later mr.fuzzyNerokins"
Ariana followed Vals advice and went to sit down with the other guests
[1:07 AM] Wyvern Lord: ...but not before turning back around and shouting
"Later lets play a game! You run and I catch you!"
[1:14 AM] Mongstrong: You have it the wrong way round, oaf.
Nero turns away, looking to occupy himself elsewhere.
[1:16 AM] Lawls: "...Want me to get you some prawns from the table Nero?"
The rider offered, the bowl of prawns almost going untouched
[1:27 AM] Mongstrong: If nobody else wants them, I will finish them off.
[1:32 AM] Wyvern Lord: "Oooh! I'll take them Val! I'm starving, it's been hours since my last meal!"
She yoinks the plate off of Val and starts chowing down
[4:33 AM] Lawls: "That was fo-"
Realising that she's eating way too fast, the male gives up his attempt to stop the human vacuum and looks to Nero with a smile
"Guess I'll try to cook you some meat later... how does steak sound?"
[5:08 AM] Mongstrong: Nero sighs, and begins to trudge off, looking for somewhere else to sit.
Sounds good. I will see you later, I imagine. Good luck with that... thing.
[5:11 AM] Lawls: "I'm pretty sure Angard is around there."
He points vaguely towards an area and turns to see the woman devouring the prawns
"Uhm... Mind if I have one?"(edited)

[6:35 PM] Time Travel? I'm in!: Sula flies into the Shishinden gardens, glancing around with a puzzled look. His hair is wet, and he carries a large box around his arm.(edited)

"Sula. Glad to see that you could make it. I guess you've been busy or something?"
[6:56 PM] Time Travel? I'm in!: "Yes, yes, have you seen Vivi-e? We have to go to the---" Sula stops, looking intently at Jean for a few moments. "Haa! Jean-ni, it is you!" He slides off the saddle, giving Shimi a congratulatory pat with his free hand (and nearly losing his balance) before moving it back to the box. "Kwemo-Kwemi, ha Ohkra!"(edited)
[7:00 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: "Yes Yes, it's nice to see you as well. And thank you for the birthday wishes I presume. Anyway Vivi was one of the first to arrive here actually so I was a bit surprised that you weren't with her."
[7:05 PM] Time Travel? I'm in!: Sula gives a gentle facepalm, realizing his mistake. "I have been searching the entire city for her....Forgive my timing, ha ha ha." He glances over at an argument between what looks like Ariana and what looks like a long-unshaven Angard. "This is the party, then."
[7:08 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: "It is indeed. It was Angard who set the entire thing up believe it or not with the assistance of Valentinus and Nero over there." Jean pointed to the young man with the furry wyvern who was currently being harassed by "Ariana".
[7:22 PM] Time Travel? I'm in!: "Valen, Tinus, and...oh, it is her." Sula blinks, suppressing his annoyance at seeing her again, and looks back at Jean. "So where is this one who...planned the party?" He looks unconvinced.
[7:24 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: "I told you it was Angard. You know my wyvern? The one I'm always with. The reason why I primarily sleep outside." Jean then points to Angard.
[7:32 PM] Time Travel? I'm in!: "Ah, there she is!" Smiling slyly, Sula walks over to her and pulls out something like a tailor's measuring tape. "Can you help to keep her head still for a few moments?"
[7:35 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: "Uuuuuh what?" Meanwhile Angard just gives Sula a strange look as she looks at the measuring tape.
Jean tapped on the Dwabi's shoulder. "What on earth are you planning to do with my wyvern Sula?"
[7:51 PM] Time Travel? I'm in!: "Nothing much." Sula holds it just above her scales, measuring the length and width of the Wyvern's head. "Just sending a message to Sula-ho-khra, in the past." He holds up some fingers into the air, indicating a set of numbers to no one in particular. "Bho-xi!"
Sula triumphantly stows the tape, then holds the hefty box out to Jean. "A gift, from me and Vivi."
[7:51 PM] Mikaboo: Vivianna finally spots the two, walks over and smiles. "Jean! Sula!" She waves at them.
[7:54 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: "Hmm. Okay then." JEan takes the heavy box out of Sula's arms as he looks over to see Vivi waving.
"Oh hello Vivi! How are you enjoying the party?"
[7:54 PM] Time Travel? I'm in!: With his hands free, Sula waves to her. "Kwemo, love."
[7:56 PM] Mikaboo: Her smile widens. "I'm having a pretty good time." She makes her way over to Sula side. "But what about you? I've hardly seen the birthday boy since he came in. Are you have a good time Jean?"
[7:59 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: Jean nodded while still keeping his eyes on the box in his arms.
"Yeah it was a nice surprise honestly. I've never had a birthday party like this before so all of this is still pretty new and strange to me. But I think I've adjusted nicely if I do say so myself."
What the hell is in this box anyway? A sack of gold? A monster head? Maybe a new weapon?
[8:00 PM] Mikaboo: She nods. "Well..aren't you curious, you can open it you know." She laughs.
[8:08 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: "Oh yes of course." Jean places the box onto a nearby table as he quickly opens it. From a quick glance Jean can immediately tell that this gift is most likely not intended for him. He pulls out a golden helmet which could fit perfectly on the head of Angard.
"Aaaah you two shouldn't have. Though this would've been an even better gift in two more weeks I really do appreciate it you two. Thank you very much."
[8:12 PM] Mikaboo: "Oh I'm glad you like it! I know it's your day but this gift is for the both of you cause we didn't want to exculed Angard." She moves over to Jean now. "Though I did get you something else..but I'll give it to you later Jean. Right now though, we should go get some cake."
[8:14 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: "Oh sure. I completely forgot about the cake." Jean placed the helmet back into the box as he turned his attention to Angard. "We can try this on later. Do you want to come and get some cake with me and Vivi?" The black wyvern nodded her head.
"Alright then and what about Sula?"
[8:16 PM] Time Travel? I'm in!: "Of course, of course." Sula nods, following with them. "Feasting with friends is life's greatest blessing."
[8:18 PM] Mikaboo: "And we are all friends right Sula." She gives him a look before looking back at Jean. "In fact, I think our friendship has grown stronger after all this stuff."
[8:18 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: Jean nodded.
"I can certainly agree with that Vivi. I certainly can."
[8:20 PM] Time Travel? I'm in!: "Yes...compared to everything that has come before, a cake is no trouble at all, ha."

[3:41 PM] ColdToiletSeat: As the initial excitement of the party began to taper off, Kalenzo looked around with present still in hand. Sure, everybody else was having a good time but where was the man of the hour? It was his birthday after all. The bowman took a free hand and idly adjusted the party hat atop his head before he had finally spotted the wyvern rider.
"Well hello there, Jean!" The man exclaimed with an excited grin on his face and birthday present at the ready.
[3:45 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: Jean turned around diverting his attention from petting his wyvern to see the familiar bowman.
"Oh hello there Kalenzo! Have you been enjoying yourself so far?"
[3:49 PM] ColdToiletSeat: "I've been enjoying myself and the party fairly well, but what about you?" Kalenzo answered, placing the parcel underneath one of his arms before tilting his head and continuing. "How have you been enjoying your surprise party?"(edited)
[3:55 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: "It's been pretty nice so far. Considering it's my first it was a bit awkward to say the least but I think I've gotten accustomed to it fairly quickly."
[4:09 PM] ColdToiletSeat: "Huh, your first surprise party?" He asked, keeping his head tilted before shaking it and moving the present back into his hands. "Well, I suppose I could say the same but that's another topic for another day."
"...Anywho, I made you a present with what time I could spare." Kalenzo spoke, offering the neatly wrapped gift to the wyvern rider. "I certainly hope you enjoy it."
[4:29 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: Jean took the present out of Kalenzo's hands.
"Well thank you Kalenzo. I truly appreciate it." Jean inspected the box.
"You wouldn't mind if I open it now right?"
[4:37 PM] ColdToiletSeat: "In all honesty I would rather you did." Kalenzo answered before clasping his hands together in anticipation, "Receiving your approval will make it all worth it."(edited)
[4:50 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: Jean opened the box with great care and his face instantly lit up when he saw the contents. He took out the small plush of Angard with a plush version of him on top holding a Emerald Axe.
"Y-you you made this Kalenzo?"
[4:53 PM] ColdToiletSeat: "Well, with some help from an associate of mine..." Kalenzo answered partly, rubbing his hands together and looking off to the side before clearing his throat and looking back up at Jean with a smile.
"But yes, I made this for you."
[5:01 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: "Wow. I love it Kalenzo. I truly do." Im a way the small plush reminded Jean of a time when Angard was that small. A smile crept onto Jean's face as he raised Kalenzo's creation into the air stimulating the pair in flight.
"It's quite masterfully crafted. Thank you very much Kalenzo. I'll always cherish it."
[5:13 PM] ColdToiletSeat: "Why thank you Jean, I'm quite glad to hear that~" Kalenzo responded, giving a bit of a bow as his smile grew even warmer. As he made eyecontact with Jean once more, an ever so familiar phrase escaped his lips as he stepped forward to provide a few congratulatory pats on the man's back.

[5:40 PM] Abyssal John John 🔥💪: And as quickly as it began the party was soon over. While the party was quite small in scale for a first birthday party Jean had enjoyed himself. It was now nighttime as everything was cleaned up and everyone had already left the party leaving Jean alone with only his wyvern at his side. The young man scratched under her neck.
"Well for my first birthday party I must say that it was an enjoyable experience. I must thank you for helping with setting it all up Angard." The Black wyvern nudged Jean's cheek prompting a laugh out of him.
"I'm honestly surprised that anyone would want to help set something like this up for me let alone have people come to it and even give out presents. It's quite refreshing." He raised Kalenzo's little creation into the air a genuine smile appearing on the man's face.
"I guess this is what having friends is like. It feels...nice." Angard let out a quiet shriek but joyous shriek as Jean looked back at the Black Box Sula had given him.
"Oh yeah! We should try that helmet on Angard. Hopefully it isn't too uncomfortable on you..."(edited)
