With nothing but Kazama's ninja mask as a memento, Elwyn is filled with regret. But the Ninja comes back to say goodbye to him. As angry as he is, Elwyn hugs his lover, and begs him to stay with the army. Kazama, in turn, asks Elwyn to come back with him to Ellis - but neither can go to the other without violating their principles. They share a bittersweet kiss, and Elwyn cries for Kazama to come back after the war is settled. The cleric wears the ninja's oversized mask as a bandanna, and the two of them kiss one last time before they part ways.

"..." Elwyn slid his finger on Kazama's mask. He was still there in the same place where he looked for his boyfriend. Despite Yavae's offer, he decided to stay. Telling her that he'd follow her back soon. "If only...I could have seen him one last time before he left..." Words spun in his mind, ones he wished to say, and ones he didn't really know if he should.
He shook his head, trying to drive those thoughts away. "Maybe I should go back, he's already gone...and I don't want to worry anyone else."(edited)
[6:47 PM] AOMLorenzo20: Slowly, Kazama materializes nearby. He gives Elwyn a small nod.
[6:49 PM] the gay one: "..." Elwyn's eyes begin to widen as his mouth was left agape from Kazama's apperance. "K-Kazama!"
[6:51 PM] the gay one: Elwyn doesn't know what to do, should he hug him? punch him? beat his ass into the ground?
[6:52 PM] the gay one: He thankfully follow's his heart's decision, leaping into a hug.
[6:55 PM] AOMLorenzo20: Kazama hesitates, slowly returning the embrace. "...Elwyn. I am sorry..."
[7:01 PM] the gay one: "Kazama...!" Elwyn tries to hold in his tears. "Why, why didn't you come with us...?"
[7:54 PM] AOMLorenzo20: "Elwyn... I am sorry. Princess Ellis is my duty--without her, I cannot live with myself. ...but there is a solution."
[7:58 PM] the gay one: "I...what is the solution? Surely...surely it'll be fine..."
[8:12 PM] AOMLorenzo20: "Elwyn, if you come with me, we won't have to be scared of Ellis. We could be together as long as time would stand."
[8:13 PM] the gay one: "...I...Kazama..." Elwyn let go of Kazama, backing away and looking up to him. "I...this sort of request..."
[8:22 PM] the gay one: "...I..." Elwyn looks down. "It's one I cannot accept."
[8:23 PM] AOMLorenzo20: Kazama bites his tongue. "...why? We could have a life, Elwyn. You and I, we could leave--or I could even overpower Ellis, I'm sure. We can be together."
[8:28 PM] the gay one: "The path you're going down...is one my sense of justice just won't let me follow. Think about it, would you really want to serve Ellis despite knowing her true intentions? It's...not a matter of whether we can overpower her or not. If she didn't leave...I don't know what would have happened to us."
[8:30 PM] the gay one: "I want to have a life with you, I truly do! But there must be a way where we can without joining Ellis..." Elwyn held Kazama's hands in his. "And...I don't want you to risk your life, just for me..."
[8:40 PM] AOMLorenzo20: He grips Elwyn's shoulder tightly. "...I am sorry, Elwyn. My educators taught my that I am carried by my bonds of duty, even beyond death. I cannot stray from serving Ellis until she dies--a task I have neither the ability nor the resource to carry out alone. But..." He sighs. "...It does not mean I will try to kill you. Perhaps... I might not be as intelligent as Ellis wishes."
[8:45 PM] the gay one: "..." Elwyn sighs as he looks down. He looks back up again, staring into Kazama's eyes for a moment before pulling him into a kiss.
[4:42 PM] AOMLorenzo20: Kazama reciprocates, doing his best to make it last a lifetime.
[1:38 PM] the gay one: He split away from the kiss, hugging Kazama close and burying his face into his chest. "...I'll miss you." He continues, despite the tears forming. "...Please, don't die...and come back to me...I only ask that you fufill just this one selfish wish of mine, Kazama..."
[2:20 PM] AOMLorenzo20: He nods, hugging back. "I shall never find another if I do not."
[9:57 PM] the gay one: Elwyn let go, wiping away his tears and smiling. But not before punching his shoulder. "That's for worrying me." He laughed despite the fact he won't see Kazama again for a long time. "...Thank you for talking with me at least one last time, I...feel a lot better. U-Um..." He awkwardly held the mask in his hand. "I'll be sure to keep this safe, too. I'll have to give it back once I'm done borrowing it." The cleric smiled as hr wrapped it on neck as if it was a bandanna. "...what? It's a bit too big to stay in my face."
[12:58 PM] AOMLorenzo20: He smiles. "It brings me joy just to see it on your person Elwyn."
The Ninja sighs. "...now. I must be off."
[5:45 AM] the gay one: "May the Gods protect you." Elwyn nodded. Despite his smile, he was still sad that Kazama had to leave. But that's fine, they will soon reunite one day. "...Stay safe, all right?"
[11:09 AM] AOMLorenzo20: He nods, returning the smile. "And you."
[12:41 PM] the gay one: Elwyn snuck in one last kiss before Kazama could have the chance to leave. "...I love you."
[4:39 PM] AOMLorenzo20: "...and that conncetion will make us inseparable." Smoke slowly trails up from the ninja's feet; when it dissipates, he is gone.
