[6:19 PM] Spoopy Mika: Vivianna mind wanders as she nibbles on her salde. She was feeling strange...like something was sorta off but she shrugged it off..wasn't like she was in pain or anything and she did not want to be trapped on medbay the whole time here anyway. The smell of chocolate fills the kitchen as her muffins cool,,at least now she had something to take her mind off the mind-numbing boring being here brought her.
[6:21 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: Versailles quickly enters looking around. Not noticing Vivianna he searches the kitchen frantically.
[6:22 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Versailles?" She looks at the man strangely.
[6:22 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "What?!" he turns to her, obviously trying, and failing, to act calm.
[6:23 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Is something the matter?"
[6:28 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "No... I... Wasjustlookingforthechocolate." he said quickly, twitching slightly.
[6:29 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Ohh..well I've got some muffins cooling, when they're done you can have as many as you like. Now sit down, you look crazy, standing like that."
[6:30 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: He half-calmly sits down across from her. "So how are you? I haven't talked to you since..." He trailed off trying to remember.
[6:32 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Oh! It was when we talked about you and Sula! How did that go?"
[6:36 PM] Spoopy Mika: "I was being stupid you know..I love him and was letting my weirdness get in the way of our love..so right now I've moved into his room...and it's wonderful." She gets a dreamy look.
[6:38 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Oh, I'm glad that it worked out!" He smiled at her.
[6:38 PM] Spoopy Mika: "I am too..talking about it with him really helped..thanks."
[6:40 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Well, I'm glad you talked to me, it means alot, so I'm glad I could help."
[6:41 PM] Spoopy Mika: "How did you know it would help actually?"
[6:44 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Well I suppose I didn't know it would help, but 'Calmer heads prevail.' We think better when we aren't excited. Being impulsive is bad when you have time."
[6:46 PM] Spoopy Mika: "And we do have a lot of time." She stands and starts to put the muffins on a small towel. "What about you, what's going on with you? How is Claire?"
[6:47 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Well, she just got over some form of fever, so okay I suppose."
[6:51 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Fever?"
[6:53 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Well, she was at the well and I had just drawn a bucket of water. As I left I heard her collapse and I rushed her to the sickbay. I gave her some medicine to reduce her fever, but I'm not exactly sure what it was. The doctors said it might have been a mix of exhaustion and a slight cold."
[6:55 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Oh no..she's been busy...I should go see her soon..we haven't spoke in so long."
[6:56 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "I'm sure she'd appreciate that."
[6:57 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Maybe you could bring her some of these muffins." She hands him one. "Because..I've been strangely not wanting sweets as much..it's weird."
[6:58 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Really?" his hand trembled as he took it, trying not to down it in one bite. "Any idea why?"
[6:58 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Hmm not really..I mean I might be growing up some more as adults don't like sweets as much as kids do."
[7:00 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "I suppose that could be the case." He guiltily looked at the muffin.
[7:01 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Is there something wrong with my muffins?"
[7:02 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "No... Its just what you said about growing up..."
[7:04 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Ohhh well, adults still have a sweet tooth hidden inside, go ahead and eat it ok."
[7:05 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: He gave her an appreciative smile and started devouring the muffin. "Ifts gweat."
[7:06 PM] Spoopy Mika: She giggles. "You're always so cute when you'e like this."
[7:07 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: He gives her a look that says, 'see what I meant about growing up'
[7:10 PM] Spoopy Mika: "I think it's sweet to hold on to something positive from childhood."
[7:12 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Yeah, but..."
[7:12 PM] Spoopy Mika: "But?"
[7:12 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "I feel so childish..."
[7:13 PM] Spoopy Mika: "And thats not a bad thing, it's alright to be a child sometimes."
[7:16 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "I guess..." He wiped off his mouth. "But not if people treat you like a child."
[7:17 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Do people treat you like a child?"
[7:18 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "No, I don't believe so..."
[7:21 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Then you are worried for nothing." She grins and shoves a muffins into her mouth. "See, it's fun!"

[7:24 PM] Spoopy Mika: "I bet Claire finds it cute too."
[7:26 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Um... I guess I don't know." He blushes slightly.
[7:27 PM] Spoopy Mika: "She hasn't seen you eat chocolate?"
[7:28 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Um... I think she gave me some a long time ago, but I wasn't paying attention to her reaction."
[7:30 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Hmmm then you really should take these muffins with you."
[7:34 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Are you sure?"
[7:35 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Yeah it's fine..like I said..I'm more into greens now adays."
[7:39 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Ok, I appreciate it."
[7:51 PM] Spoopy Mika: "Well here then." She wraps them up and hands them to him

[9:04 PM] REWlego: Leodin is on his way back to his room after meeting with Ariana, still wondering about how things could have gone differently.
[9:07 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: Versailles walks happily down the hallway, a wrapping of muffins in his hands. He spots Leodin and walks over. "Leodin! How are you?"
[9:08 PM] REWlego: Leodin notices Versailles, and his spirits are instantly lifted.
"Oh, hello Versailles! Things could be going better, I guess. How about you?"
[9:10 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Well, I have a handful of Chocolate Muffins, so I'm doing well." He smiled. "I just talked to Vivianna and she gave me them to share with Claire."
[9:11 PM] REWlego: "Oh, good! How is Claire doing? I haven't talked to her recently."
[9:12 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Well she just got over a fever, so worse than usual I suppose... But she seems to be getting better."(edited)

[9:19 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: He shakes his head. "No, first she was worried about Alisa and it was hard convincing her not to run out and find her herself. Then she helped me with the large amounts of medical patients, and she probably trained in the mean-time."

[9:21 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "She is Claire's childhood friend. Their fathers were friends."

[9:32 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Well... I've mainly been working with patients, but one happened to be some sort of monster and it broke my rib when it attacked me. So I was bedridden and am still recovering a little. Then Claire got sick, so i was by her side for a couple more days." He sighed. "I guess its been tough."
[9:33 PM] REWlego: He nods. "It's been tough on all of us."
[9:35 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "So how about you? What have you done lately?"
[9:38 PM] REWlego: "Huh... where to start... I just met with someone regarding some... issues... I guess you could say."
[9:42 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Oh? May I ask you to elaborate?"
[9:44 PM] REWlego: "I don't know if you've met her, but her name's Ariana. She hasn't been the friendliest person, to put it lightly."
[9:46 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: He shakes his head, "No, I don't know her. Thats unfortunate though, and I don't think you would be the kind to upset someone."
[9:46 PM] REWlego: "Oh I can assure you, she's been that way before I met her."
[9:57 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "I believe you, but I suppose I'd have to meet her to understand what you mean. So, why meet with someone so... disagreeable?"
[9:58 PM] REWlego: "To find out why. To be honest, I didn't learn much during our conversation though."
[10:00 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "I see. But I suppose you haven't spent all your time with unfriendly people. Anything more lighthearted to share?"

[10:36 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: Versailles thought for a moment. "Well, when I first met you, you said you had a past you didn't want to talk about, and so I assume the mask followed that sentiment. How would revealing yourself now change you? Am I to be surprised by the same-but-different man before me? Or perhaps I will be unimpressed and damage your pride." He shakes his head. "I appreciate the honesty, but I think for now we leave it there. Maybe when we are in less stressful times you can reveal all."
[10:38 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Think of it as a gift you can give me for us both making it through. You won't die so you can show me, and I won't die for the same."
[10:39 PM] REWlego: "Huh... I've never thought about it that much before.. I guess that's what happens when you ask a philosopher," he says jokingly.
[10:41 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "If you ask a philosopher anything, you'll get everything but what you asked" he quoted.
[10:42 PM] REWlego: "I'll have to remember that."
[10:45 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "I'm sorry, I forgot what we were talking about before I driveled on." He looked confusedly at Leodin.
[10:45 PM] REWlego: "Ah, we were talking about Princess Ellis."
[10:48 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Ah yes, you said that she was very kind. What did you talk about with her? I hardly think she'd be entertained by my blathering."
[10:51 PM] REWlego: "Oh, I don't know about that. Last night we uh.... we talked about.... Queen Lunarea's upcoming expedition."
[10:58 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "I see, very business minded. I suppose being the Queen's sister has its duties..."
[10:59 PM] REWlego: "Um.... yeah...."
[11:01 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Well, I'm glad to see you are doing alright. I promise to see you again during better times, so I can see your face!" He laughed. "Oh! here take a muffin, I'm sure Claire won't mind, we have plenty besides."
[11:04 PM] REWlego: "Oh... uh... Thank you." He takes one, still a bit distracted thinking about last night.
"And uh, tell Claire I hope she gets better soon."
[11:07 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "I'll make sure to, see you!" he walks off, biting into a muffin.
[11:13 PM] REWlego: "Goodbye Versailles!"
He waves goodbye and then goes back to his room while starting to eat the muffin.

"It's amazing that Leodin got to meet with Princess Ellis. I wonder what the royalty are like?"
Images of Queen Lunarea striking down foes came to mind. He also thought of the delicate Ellis conversing with Leodin, possibly at a table or standing in a library.
"Royal people like libraries right?"
He shook his head. He was sure that they were probably too busy running a country or in this case, leading an army, to be busy with reading. He wondered what the Queen would know of Philosophy. He imagined that she would be quite well-read and would probably be able to share some insight with him. As he walked, he came across a courtyard and he stopped to look at the sky. It was cloudy and yet bright. He walked up to the fountain in the center of the courtyard and looked at his reflection in the water.(edited)
[8:56 PM] Amasuro: On the opposite side of the fountain, Luna sat along the edges of the fountain, stretching her arms and legs. Finishing her stretches, Luna rested the palms of both her hands against the fountains edge, leaning backwards as she gazed towards the sky.
Ah, can't wait for the moment when I gotta have my guard up at all times of the day. Damn, why'd we gotta go a mission like this now? I've only had four months to enjoy my little castle.

[9:01 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: Looking up, Versailles saw the woman across the fountain from him, looking at the sky.
"Quite bright for how cloudy it is, right? I would love to know how the light makes it through." he called over to her.
[9:04 PM] Amasuro: "...Mmm?"
Luna rubs her eyes, allowing them to readjust as she looked towards the voice.
"Well the clouds aren't really that dense."
Is he talking to me? I think he's talking to me.
[9:08 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Oh? But the bottoms have shadows. Can light come through a shadow?" He slowly made his way around the fountain, looking back at the clouds.
[9:10 PM] Amasuro: "Yes, wait, no. Wait, uhh..."
Luna scrunched her face up, messing her hair around as she shook her head.
"Mmmgh, wait, aren't shadows created from a reflection of the light? Therefore, that must prove that light is coming through the clouds, otherwise there won't be any shadows!"
[9:14 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Uh... well... shadows are where light doesn't land? So maybe it goes through the clouds, but doesn't land on the clouds?" Versailles stares at the floating connundrums with much confusion.
[9:16 PM] Amasuro: Luna shoots up from her seat, standing while making many varied arm motions.
"But the original question was whether light goes through the cloud, and it does! But...the shadow...uhh...well, if its not a physical object, light can...probably...pass through a shadow?"
[9:19 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "I think you are right... because glass can be shaded and still let light through..."
[9:23 PM] Amasuro: "Of course I am right! It is only natural."
Luna puts her hands dramatically on her hips, seemingly proud of this accomplishment.
[9:27 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Haha, I'm sure." He smiled, looking at her. Finally seeing her face he bowed. "Queen Lunarea! I hope I did not insult you at all."

Is this someone important? He kind of seems like it. Uhh...whoops?
"Nonsense, you didn't insult me in the slightest," Luna responds, bowing in turn, "you strike me as someone very familiar, mind telling me your name?"
[9:37 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: Not rising from his bow. "I am Versailles Occam, but I am only a lowly monk from the south. My mother Zhu Zhung owned a textiles shop in your city, perhaps that is the familiarity?"
[9:41 PM] Amasuro: Haha, like I do any clotheswork myself. Mmm, I think this might have been the guy that helped me down in the cavern.
"Versailles, hmm? I recall your name in some reports, and recognize your face. Did you assist me down in the cavern beneath the castle the other day?"
[9:43 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Ah, I was there, but I could only heal..." didn't I heal her? I think so...
[9:45 PM] Amasuro: She snaps her fingers.
"There we go, thats where I remember you! Hey, I never did get to thank you for that, have I? I think you healed me once before too, but my memory is pretty hazy from that."
Oh good, he isn't some foreign dignitary or something. Those types always go off on those philosophical tirades.
[9:47 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "I am honored to have helped the Queen, but I only healed you. Others stronger than I defended you."
[9:49 PM] Amasuro: Yeah, of course! Teamwork, and shit, or something.
"Healing me is just a valuable contribution as defending me with physical force. I am equally thankful towards all of you for what you've done."
[9:51 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Oh you give me too much credit, but I accept your thanks gratefully. As I said, I am happy to have been able to help."
[9:53 PM] Amasuro: "Mmm, I think this might be a good time to ask. Versailles, did you intend to partake in our expedition in the upcoming days? I believe most of the people you know have signed up already, and we could use someone like you."
[9:55 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "If you would have me, I would join, yes." I need to stick with Claire and I'm sure she signed up(edited)
[9:57 PM] Amasuro: "'Course we can have you! Someone with the ability to heal wounds such as yourself is always useful in an expedition like this one."
[9:59 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Alright, then I shall await our departure." Wow she is alot more eccentric than I would have thought
[10:03 PM] Amasuro: "Good to hear. We'll address those leaving on the expedition at a later time."
Her eyes narrow, seemingly scanning Versailles.
"Oh, just by the way, we'll be headed into that jungle south of the city. I trust you can prepare yourself for that?"
[10:06 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: He nodded. "Yes, I can pack medicine to ease those unused to the climate." He thought back to his trip with his mentor and how many in their group got sick from the humidity and various bugs.
"If you'd allow me, I can talk to the medical staff about what we might need."
[10:09 PM] Amasuro: "Eh I don't see why not. I trust that the medical staff will pack what is necessary, but your input could point something new to them. Or they'll point something new to you."
[10:13 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "Ah, thank you. I'll go see to that." He bows again before turning to leave.
[10:13 PM] Amasuro: "A pleasure to finally be introduced to you, Versailles," Luna grinned with a wave.
[10:15 PM] Iron Lord spikethe3rd: "The pleasure was all mine!" he smiled, turning to face her before turning and leaving. Wow that was stressful
[10:19 PM] Amasuro: Luna watches as Versailles leaves, before returning to her seated position on the fountain.
Whew! Thank goodness he didn't go on another one of those theory talks. Ugh, I think my head hurts.
Her resting back soon makes her whole body turn skywards, where her gaze falls back towards the clouds.
...But can we really call those shadows under the clouds? If they weren't actually shadows, then I still didn't answer if the light truly passed through the clouds. But, wait, they're not dense enough, so thats why they pass through...unless its through the cracks.
