[4:49 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: Drew passes by the Royal Stables and glances at it before continuing on to explore near the castle, he hadn't really explored the outer area of it, only the inside of the castle(edited)
[9:04 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: He decides he can look around another time and goes back to the stables
[9:07 PM] Kwakado: "Kwemo, Drew-i!" Shimi swoops by, and Sula waves to him as they breeze past towards the stables.
[9:08 PM] Mika™: Vivianna peeks out in surprise. "Drew, Sula, what are you two doing here?"
[9:09 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "I kinda wanna pet Este again!"
[9:09 PM] Kwakado: Sula leaps off, driving the staff into the dirt like a vaulting pole and landing on his good foot.
[9:10 PM] Kwakado: "Shimi-e and I are just training, ha." He looks to Vivi. "Truly."
[9:11 PM] Mika™: She claps. "Well I'm sorry but he's not here right now, he was taken to a animal doctor to get a check up. I stayed with him while he was there but it seems they want to keep him overnight and you need to rest more Sula, your foot needs time."
[9:17 PM] Kwakado: Sula spins the wooden shaft around playfully, placing it back into the ground in place of his other foot. "Do not worry, Vivi-i. I got a big rest this morning, and El-wyn's medicine is working. The purple is all turning into red!"
[9:18 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "I...guess that's great"
[9:19 PM] Kwakado: "... Did they find anything...wrong, in Este-i?"
[9:20 PM] Mika™: "No he's very healthy. He whined when I left, it left me a little teary."
[9:21 PM] Kwakado: Sula smiles. "You saved him, after all. Choosing him when his mother would not."(edited)
[9:22 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Hm? What's that mean?" He looked at Vivi
[9:26 PM] Mika™: "Well..in the wild animals will abandoned sick young and that's what Este's mother did to him. So I took her place."
[9:32 PM] Kwakado: "And she has done so well...Este-i is as Kwemo as a child could be." Sula spins around to face both them. "So neither of you are busy, then?"
[9:33 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Not at the moment"
[9:33 PM] Mika™: "Um no."
[9:34 PM] Kwakado: Sula looked to the east, beyond the castle. "...why don't we leave the city for a while?"
[9:35 PM] Mika™: "And..go where?"
[9:37 PM] Kwakado: "The mountainside east of here. We may not find anything, but..." He smirks. "The mountains are nothing to fear."
[9:38 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Oh...I wasn't expecting that"
[9:40 PM] Kwakado: "Have you rode a horse before, Drew-i? I am sure Vivi-i would know which of the ones here would be easiest."
[9:41 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Wow ...I havent rode in a while...But yes I have ride a horse"
[9:41 PM] Mika™: She smiles. "I can show you a very gentle one if you like Drew."
[9:42 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: He doesnt look excited anymore, he looks nervous ".....Sure"
[9:42 PM] Kwakado: "Aa, but they need to be strong, too... if they want to keep up with Shimi-e!" Sula tosses her a sugar cube, and she snatches it out of the air with her mouth.(edited)
[9:44 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Show me the way Mika!" He tries to sound a little excited
[9:45 PM] Mika™: She nods and leads him to the prettiest horse he's ever seen. "She's very strong but a sweetie as well."
[9:49 PM] Kwakado: Sula starts unloading various blades, bags, and other non-essentials from Shimi's bag. "You can do this, Shimi-e. For the future. For Khlin."
[9:50 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: Drew is stunned "uh...so much hair! Never seen a horse like this before"
[9:51 PM] Mika™: "She comes from much colder climates." The horse trots over. "Her name is Autumn."
[9:58 PM] Kwakado: Shimi's rider carries the various goods over to his pile of bags and things in the back.
[9:59 PM] Mika™: She nudges Vivi. "She's a bit spoiled Drew but that shouldn't be any trouble to the trip."
[10:00 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: Drew goes to pet Autumn "well, looks like i'll be riding you Autumn"
[10:00 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: He looks less nervous now
[10:00 PM] Mika™: She licks his hand.
[10:00 PM] Mika™: "Ah I guess I'll go pick out my horse then."
[10:01 PM] Kwakado: "Vivi..."
[10:01 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: Drew giggles and then wipes his hand on the side of his pants
[10:01 PM] Mika™: She pauses and looks at Sula.
[10:01 PM] Kwakado: "Could you...ride with me?"
[10:02 PM] Mika™: She doesn't notice as a blush rises to her face. "R-Ride w-with you? I..I..is Shimi ok with it?"
[10:04 PM] Kwakado: Sula, noticing what must her feelings about his mount, smiles bigger. "It will be new for her, but....I want her to learn. That she is strong enough for two."
[10:05 PM] Mika™: "T-Then I would love to."
[10:06 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: Drew already has a sadle on Autumn but hasn't mounted her yet
[10:07 PM] Kwakado: Shimi, a little jealous of all the attention Autumn is getting, has already come over to them. "Are you ready, Drew-i?"
[10:09 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: Drew tries to leap onto Autumn huh, I guess im not used to tall mounts
[10:10 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Yeah.....as soon as I get on"
[10:10 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: Drew climbs Autumn
[10:10 PM] Mika™: "It's a good thing I packed a big lunch." She giggles. "When's the last time you rode Drew?"
[10:11 PM] Kwakado: Sula steps closer to Autumn, ready in case the boy falls.
[10:14 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "About a year"
[10:14 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: He looks at a pouch at his side "yeah....a year"
[10:14 PM] Mika™: "Hmm well ok." She looks at Shimi.
[10:14 PM] Kwakado: Sula hums.
[10:15 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: Drew was so deep in thought he almost falls off, but restabilises
[10:16 PM] Mika™: "Shimi, can you tilt down a little so that I can get on." She pats her, giving the pegause a smile.
[10:16 PM] Kwakado: Sula extends his palm to Vivianna. "Take my hand - I'll help you up."
[10:18 PM] Mika™: She hates how her heart jumps. Vivi takes it and gets on Shimi.
[10:19 PM] Kwakado: As he leaps up onto the saddle, his arm pulls, helping her onto the saddle. It's a little snug - not quite meant for two people to ride.
[10:19 PM] Kwakado: The Dwabi's grey eyes look to Drew. "Kwemo, sir."
[10:20 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: Drew assumes its a signal and makes Autumn take a few steps around them
[10:21 PM] Kwakado: Shimi is restless, unused to the weight of two people. She whimpers a little.
[10:22 PM] Kwakado: "Sing with me, Vivi-i." Sula looks back at her, proudly:
"Shimi-eeeeee ~ Sula-ba-ba-e ~ Shimi-eeeeee ~"
[10:23 PM] Mika™: She joins him in singing, voice shakey from how close they are.
[10:23 PM] Kwakado: After a few rounds of their unison, Shimi settles, understanding their intent.
[10:24 PM] Kwakado: Sula looks forward, to the stable exit. Then, with a voice like the crack of a whip: "Ba!"
[10:25 PM] Kwakado: They ride out from the stables, and Sula guides her in a circle around the building while they wait for Drew and Autumn to exit.
[10:26 PM] Mika™: She wished her blush would go away.
[10:26 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Alright...lets ride!" He gets Autumn to sprint after them
[10:27 PM] Kwakado: "Hold on, Vivi-i, we are going up!" Sula leans back into her. "Ba! Ba!"
[10:30 PM] Mika™: She lets out a gasp. She would always love the sensation of flying.
[10:31 PM] Kwakado: The dark pegasus flaps a few times in hesitation, then kicks off, gliding in an uneasy wave through the air.
[10:32 PM] Kwakado: "To the east gate, Drew-i! We will meet you there!" Shimi flaps harder, but Sula gives her wing a firm stroke. Her legs pick up their pace, and the turbulent bouncing starts to slow down.
[10:33 PM] Mika™: She laughs, letting out a sharp note. "It's so wonderful Sula!"
[10:33 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Wha...." He guides Autumn so they go towards the east gate
[10:33 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Come on Autumn lets not fall behind!"
[10:34 PM] Kwakado: Finally, they stop bouncing back and forth into each other. Sula takes them up towards the top of the castle, giving Shimi plenty of time to adjust.(edited)
[10:42 PM] Mika™: She smiles and looks around. The flight was even better with someone..she..knew with her.
[10:44 PM] Kwakado: The castle towered over the rest of Amaterasu, surrounded by beautiful gardens and mighty walls. Shimi passed over an especially lovely grove at the center, but neither its visitors nor the pegasus' riders noticed each other.(edited)
[10:44 PM] Kwakado: "It does look nice, uu?" Shimi tilted to the side as they looped around, and gravity started to gently tug them to her side.
[10:45 PM] Mika™: She nods. "Sula..I'm glad I met you and Shimi."
[10:47 PM] Kwakado: He pulls the reins over, straightening her out a little more. "Yes...it is Kwemo from the gods, that our fates would--Drew-i!" He looked down to see the rider nearly to the east gate.
[10:52 PM] Kwakado: Shimi, Autumn, and their riders travelled east, as the sun sank behind them. The Freyzenese mountains loomed over the horizon, and Amaterasu was a long way away.(edited)
[10:53 PM] Mika™: "We've come very far. I hope the horses are doing ok."
[10:54 PM] Kwakado: "Shimi-e has a lot of Kwemo in her...A little rest and she will make it back. But..." Sula looked down at the other two.
[10:55 PM] Mika™: "Autumn needs to rest, she isn't as strong ok."
[10:56 PM] Kwakado: "Yes. The Kol-a here will be hard to ride on, too...they need to stop." At his direction, Shimi started descending towards Drew and his horse.
[10:58 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Oh there coming down" Autumn slows down a little
[10:59 PM] Mika™: "Drew, are you doing ok?"
[11:00 PM] Kwakado: Shimi's wings arc as her hooves touch down on the ground abruptly. She gallops along the grass. Sula's eyes scan the mountainsides in the meantime.(edited)

[11:04 PM] Kwakado: Shimi's gallop slows. "I wonder what hides in the top of the mountains...Maybe nothing. Maybe treasure?"
[11:05 PM] Mika™: "Maybe..."
[11:06 PM] Kwakado: "Truly, I was just getting a little tired of the city, ha ha. Wilderness is Kwemo for the soul."
[11:07 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Im fine, I think Autumn needs rest though"
[11:09 PM] Mika™: "She very much does."
[11:10 PM] Kwakado: Shimi stops, and Sula looks back at them. "If we are going to the mountaintops, I will need to take one of you at a time...But maybe Shimi-e should rest for a few minutes first.*
[11:11 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Alright we can just relax for a bit"
[11:12 PM] Kwakado: Sula retrieves his cane from the side of the saddle, hops down, then drops it, extending his arms out for Vivianna.
[11:12 PM] Mika™: She hops into his arms, trying to not show how wobbly her legs are.
[11:13 PM] Kwakado: "N-Nan--!"At first, he tries balancing on one foot, but it doesn't quite work, and they fall back into the Freyzenese grass.(edited)

[11:14 PM] Kwakado: "Ha ha ha ha....No, it was foolish of me...are you hurt, Vivi-i?"
[11:16 PM] Mika™: "Nono I'm fine!" She struggles to stand but falls. "I..I..my legs need some time to adjust."
[11:18 PM] Kwakado: "Just rest, then, ha." Sula leans back, looking up at the mountains overhead. "And we will wonder which mountain we will go to."(edited)

[11:22 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: Drew walks over to Shimi and retrieves the Basket

[11:24 PM] Mika™: "I even have some strawberries too."
[11:25 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Man I haven't rode in so long...Ahh It feels nice to relax afterward"

[11:27 PM] Mika™: "Are you tired Drew? It was a long ride."
[11:28 PM] ChaoticAceTrainer: "Yeah but...I can still go on, I just...need to relax for a bit"

[11:34 PM] Mika™: Vivianna nibbles on blueberries. "I met a strange man earlier. He rode a wryven as dark as the night and wear such bright clothes. I liked him though, he was nice."
[11:35 PM] Kwakado: Sula nods upward. "A wyvern? I haven't seen any of them in the Frey-zen skies...Is he here for the festival?"(edited)

[11:38 PM] Mika™: "I guess. I gave him some dwabi dessert..." She trails off and giggles. "He is young and riding takes a lot out of you."
[11:39 PM] Kwakado: The massive castle is not even a speck. "Perhaps...we should let him stay here with Autumn, then. I want to make sure we are back in time to see Este-i."
[11:39 PM] Kwakado: He looked up at the mountains. "I wonder...Which one...Ommm....."
[11:40 PM] Kwakado: No sign of any Freyzenese mines, or anything out of the ordinary. It seemed that Kazama was right.
[11:41 PM] Mika™: She watches him. "Sula..what are you looking for?"
[11:42 PM] Kwakado: "Something...shiny. Something worthy of a goddess." He smiled, knowing he would probably not find it. "Where should we start?"
[11:44 PM] Mika™: "Well..shiny things are mined in the montuins..soo we should probably find a cave."
[11:45 PM] Kwakado: He grabbed his staff, and stood up, squinting. They were too low. "Are your legs ready?" He fed Shimi a snack, brushing her with his hands.(edited)
[11:46 PM] Mika™: She stands. "Yes, I'm fine now."
[11:47 PM] Kwakado: "Alright. Shimi-e is not used to...helping someone ride her, you know, ha." He climbs up onto the dark horse's saddle, helping Vivi up once more.
[11:48 PM] Mika™: She settle on. "Lead on then Shimi."
[11:50 PM] Kwakado: Shimi sets off, a little reluctantly, but a couple Bas seem to suffice, and she ascends to the top of the mountain range. Flying low over them, Shimi glides relatively comfortably as her riders search for openings.
[11:50 PM] Kwakado: "Omm..." But his eyes are open for this hum.
[11:52 PM] Mika™: "Say Sula, since you see a lot with you feet on the ground..do you feel a little blind in the air?"
[11:54 PM] Kwakado: "In many ways, yes...My Kolai has gotten very weak in these years. When I was younger, I could see an arrow coming before it would reach my heart! Ha!"
He shook his head wistfully.
"But if that is the cost of having someone like Shimi-e, then I accept it."(edited)

[11:58 PM] Kwakado: Sula hangs his head back. "Something like...Drew-i, I wonder. If I had lived in a place like Amaterasu, I would have been thrown in jail many times, ha ha ha."(edited)

[11:59 PM] Kwakado: "The Shatu-o never knew whether to call me their best Shati, or their worst, ha ha ha. Sometimes they changed their mind seven times in one day!"
[12:00 AM] Mika™: She looks confused. "Shati?"
[12:00 AM] Kwakado: Sula's expression, out of view, darkens. "Dwabi-i, training to become Shatu. That was all...a long time ago. I do not talk about it."
[12:01 AM] Kwakado: The mountains were getting taller, with nothing out of the ordinary, and the resting picknickers were well out of sight. But Sula was strangely content, flying with another for the first time.(edited)
[12:02 AM] Mika™: Vivianna is not..seems Sula past..was much different then she had thought it was.
[12:04 AM] Kwakado: "I wonder if you would be happy, with the Dwabi. The land is good, the people are Kwemo...plenty of nice cities on the coast."
[12:05 AM] Mika™: "I'm sure I could be..as long as I was there with you."
[12:07 AM] Kwakado: "Nnn." Sula tugs at the reins, bringing Shimi into a different arc to try and look busier. That was not a topic he knew how to address at all.
[12:07 AM] Mika™: "I think, if I was with you..I'd be happy anywhere."
[12:09 AM] Kwakado: "Thank you, Vivi-i. Nohr sounds like an interesting place to visit...But it will be many years before my work in Khlin is finished."
[12:09 AM] Kwakado: "Haa! Down there!"
[12:10 AM] Kwakado: Sula spots something...out of place up ahead.
[12:10 AM] Kwakado: "Ba-Na, Shimi-e!" Her kicking slows, and they approach the mountaintop.
[12:12 AM] Mika™: She sighs, he just didn't seem to get it. "Is that a cave?"
[12:13 AM] Kwakado: "Ommm...." As Shimi-e approaches, their eyes can make out something like a dark opening on its peak. "...I see it."
[12:14 AM] Mika™: "Does it look dangerous? "
[12:15 AM] Kwakado: They descend closer, with Shimi's wings flapping to slow their descent. "...I am still learning to trust the mountainsides, Vivi-i. What do you think?" He looks over his shoulder, sending a smile her way.(edited)
[12:17 AM] Kwakado: Shimi's hooves touch down on a flat part of the mountain. Was this platform....natural?
[12:19 AM] Mika™: She's worried though, montains while beautiful always scared her. "Will Shimi stay out here?"(edited)
[12:20 AM] Kwakado: Sula nods. "If anything dangerous comes, she will take to the skies."
[12:20 AM] Kwakado: "But I think she likes us too much to leave us here. Do not worry."
[12:21 AM] Kwakado: Sula peers down into the cave opening. Had he known they would actually find something like this, he might have brought some better supplies....He takes an oil flask and some rags from her saddlebag, wrapping them around the top of his converted broomhandle.
[12:23 AM] Mika™: She sticks right by him. Maybe this hadn't been such a good idea.
[12:24 AM] Kwakado: Sula looks her dead in the eye. "Vivi-i, if we find any...danger in here, I need you to run. Take Shimi-e and run. I promise you that I will not die here."
[12:25 AM] Wyvern Lord: Cave entrance description
The cave entrance is large and wide with an opening of around 4 meters in length and 3 in height, the area around it is hard and rocky with very few bushes creeping out of the rocks. the ground has cuts and tracks in it hinting that the cave may have been used for mining in the distant past. Inside the cave is far too dark to see in
[12:25 AM] Mika™: She wants to fight him on this but nods, grabbing his hand. "Don't let go of me Sula."
[12:27 AM] Kwakado: He nods. "..That works too, ha. Hold this, for a moment?" Having covered the rags with oil, he hands her the staff and gets out his scroll, preparing to ignite it.
[12:27 AM] Kwakado: Just like the stables, heat flows from his body into the runes, sparking into the oil and creating a makeshift torch.
[12:27 AM] Kwakado: He takes it back, and leads her into the cave.
[12:28 AM] Mika™: She follows, shaking
[12:29 AM] Kwakado: "Don't worry, Vivi--i...Sula-o is stronger than he looks, ha."
[12:30 AM] Mika™: She gives him a weak smile. "Ok."
[12:31 AM] Kwakado: They descend slowly, one step at a time. Sula keeps off his bad foot, letting the torch guide his every motion, every glance. And he's humming under his breath.
[12:31 AM] Mika™: She starts to sing softly, to take her mind off the dark.
[12:32 AM] Wyvern Lord: Inside of the cave description
the tracks continue in here for another 60 meters before stopping at a fork in the cave. Left side is broken and has collapsed. the right side continues for a long distance. on the ground are small chunks of shiny black rock, possibly obsidian(edited)
[12:33 AM] Kwakado: "Wait until Kaza-mo hears that we did find a Frey-zen mine here..." He extends his torch to the left, confirming it is blocked, then starts off to the right. His pace slows, as his bare feet take care to avoid the particularly sharp rocks.
[12:34 AM] Mika™: "Do you think he'll care?"
[12:35 AM] Kwakado: "Ha ha ha ha!" His laughter echoed down the tunnel. "...No. Ayida truly have other matters to attend to. Did you know that he thought I was trying to poison his princess?"
[12:36 AM] Mika™: "What! Why would he ever think that?"
[12:37 AM] Kwakado: "That dinner was truly Nanyo...I felt very poisoned, myself, ha." Sula's pace became more confident as he got used to the cave floor.(edited)
[12:38 AM] Mika™: "I wish we could go there together, whatever I had was great."
[12:40 AM] Kwakado: Sula smirked, remembering his deal with Kalenzo. "Well, perhaps you will be blessed with another visit in the future..." But it felt sour.
[12:41 AM] Kwakado: The dark rock was quite strong - and sharp - as it poked into his skin. But Sula's feet were used to years of fending for themselves, and he ignored the little stings as they continued.
[12:41 AM] Mika™: "Will it be with you?"
[12:42 AM] Kwakado: Sula hummed. "Uu...Yes. Yes, I can take you there. I know the chef quite well, ha."
[12:43 AM] Mika™: She smiles, progress..maybe.
[12:44 AM] Kwakado: "Vivi-i, I wanted to..ask you something." Sula glances across the dark, stony walls, looking for loose bits of this strange rock to take.(edited)

[12:47 AM] Kwakado: Sula's cheeks brighten a bit, obscured by the torchlight. "Would it be alright if I...moved into your room?"
[12:48 AM] Wyvern Lord: Final cave post
At the very end of this hallway the cave opens up into a Massive room at least 30 meters wide 30 meters long and 20 high. the room is broken into 3 levels with most of the Stone platforms that line the walls being in a decrepit state, in the middle is Weapons of Black stone amassed into a small pile. light dimly shines into the room from some small holes in the roof
[12:49 AM] Mika™: "M..Moved..i..in? Sula, I w..wouldn't mind but...do you not have a place?"
[12:49 AM] Kwakado: "I---Ba-bi!" Sula stands, agape at the chamber here. "Look at this, Vivi-i!"
[12:51 AM] Mika™: "What?!"
[12:51 AM] Kwakado: He waves the torch in a slow arc, taking in as much of the chamber as he can, before carefully stepping forward. "This must be some kind of...Holy Ground..."
[12:51 AM] Mika™: "Oh woow!"
[12:52 AM] Kwakado: He makes his way to the pile of weapons. "I wonder if we can find a Nin-ja blade for Kaza-mo. So he does not punish us for trespassing here."
[12:53 AM] Mika™: "I don't think we should touch anything. "
[12:54 AM] Kwakado: "Omm...." Sula considers her words. "But a gift for Ayida would be such Kwemo...If he is angry, we can put it back, of course..." Sula peers into the pile, but does not touch.
[12:55 AM] Mika™: She looks around. "This is just amazing..."
[12:57 AM] Kwakado: Sula nods. "I should ask Versa-i about the history of this place...If I can find him..." He sees some smaller blades towards the bottom of the pile.
[12:59 AM] Mika™: "....So..moving in...
[1:00 AM] Kwakado: "Yes. I know you...have done so much for me here." He still can't help but look around at the platforms surrounding them.
[1:00 AM] Kwakado: "Your food is as good as a five-star chef. And you have made Shimi-e and Este-i so happy."
[1:01 AM] Kwakado: "And I can't keep all of those bags sitting around in the stable, ha ha. Too many Thief Princes lurking around the castle."
[1:02 AM] Mika™: "Oh..Sula..I'd love for you to move in."

[1:48 AM] Mika™: "Nononono! No!" She stands up. "Sula i..i..I.." She couldn't.
[1:49 AM] Kwakado: Sula shakes his head, gently stepping to her side. "I trust you, Vivi-i. And whatever it is, hiding in your heart, whatever you think you cannot tell me...No matter what, I will be here. I will not leave you in this darkness."
