The small girl knocked on another door, intent on finding out what room the masked man resided in. She had probably knocked on..... 13 doors by now? Asking the receptionist would certiantly help her find him, but that would be too logical to do in such a case. She also simply got a rush out of being a pain in the ass, so it worked out fine for her.
"Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeo-Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeo............. Are you heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere?"
She nonchalantly knocked on the door, her trademark dragged out syllables resounding deeper within the inn's hallways.
[11:30 AM] bREWlager: After the madness that happened ealier that day, Leo had considered not taking the night shift, and staying inside for the night. He had eventually decided against it, and started getting ready to go back up on the rooftops again after dark. He was just about to start putting his armor on when he heard the knock at the door, and Auriel calling his name. He didn't wear normal clothes in public much, but Auriel was a member of Queen Lunarea's team, so he assumed it would be fine.
He put his mask on and walked to the door to open it.
"Hello Auriel, what brings you here?"
[11:32 AM] Emisuro: "You knoooow....... Luuuuma wanted to challenge me, and thaaat's a no-no if I can't wiiiin......"
Her voice had a bored undertone to it, almost as if she didn't really want to do this, but winning over Luna was a bit too tempting
"Soooo I wanted to aaaask, whaaat are you votiiiing?"
[11:33 AM] bREWlager: She seriously came here just to ask me about this?
"I don't intend to vote at all, if you must know."
[11:35 AM] Emisuro: "Buuut you haaaave to..... It's maaaaaandatory....."
She shrugged it off, looking at him in a serious manner, as if it actually really mattered...... even though it seemingly not mattered at all earlier.
[11:36 AM] bREWlager: He leans against the door frame and crosses his arms.
"Who says it's mandatory?"
[11:38 AM] Emisuro: "I saaaay...... Luuuuuma says it tooo.... Luma wont be happy.."
Auriel leant towards the opposite one, sitting down
[11:40 AM] bREWlager: He sighs and moves out of the way, gesturing towards the room.
"Do you want to come inside?"
[11:41 AM] Emisuro: "Suuuure I gueeesss...... I have time..."
She apathetically walks into the relatively small one-man room, sitting down on the bed
[11:42 AM] bREWlager: Leo closes the door behind him and pulls up a chair.
"Giving no answer is better than giving one, and making the other even less happy with me."
[11:44 AM] Emisuro: "But iiif you don't answeeer.... Luuuma will be reeeeeaaly angry..."
Auriel shakes her head dissaprovingly at Leodin
[11:46 AM] bREWlager: He shakes his head.
"Why does this even matter so much to you?"
[11:47 AM] Emisuro: "Because winniiiiing over Luma is more impooortant than aaaaanything."
[11:47 AM] bREWlager: He leans forward.
"And why is that?"
[11:48 AM] Emisuro: Auriel's stupid grin only grew wider
"Becaaause its important. Reeeaaally important."
[11:50 AM] bREWlager: "Why is it important though?"
[11:53 AM] Emisuro: "Dooo you ask a bird why it swims? Or a fiiiish how it fliiies?"
That was supposed to be a mistake. Auriel acts stupid like that
[11:56 AM] bREWlager: Leodin gives her a blank stare, waiting for her to follow up on her rhetorical question.
[11:58 AM] Emisuro: "Thaaats riiight! It is like that because its suppoooosed to be like that!"
She does a shrugging gesture, almost to say "that was pretty obvious"
[11:59 AM] bREWlager: "It doesn't change my mind about answering."
[12:01 PM] Emisuro: "But its impoooooooooooooooortant!"
Her voice had a hint of childish anger, as if a spoiled brat didn't get its ways
"I neeeeeed to beeaaat Luuuma!"
[12:02 PM] bREWlager: "Why do you need to ask me in oder to do that?"
[12:04 PM] Emisuro: "Becaaause you were theere when it began! I neeeed to make suuuuuure you are on the correct siiiide...."
[12:05 PM] bREWlager: Seeing no other option, Leodin decides to play along... at least a little.
"And what if I'm not?"
[12:06 PM] Emisuro: "Theeen I'll make you go to the riiight side. Its obvioously the right one!"
[12:07 PM] bREWlager: He chuckles.
"And how are you going to do that?"
[12:08 PM] Emisuro: "Using my greeeat conversatiooonal skills!"
She laughs, before continuing
"Like how Luuuma...... is actually eeeevil!"
[12:09 PM] bREWlager: "Oh really? Let's hear the proof then." He says sarcastically, pretending to believe what she's saying.
[12:11 PM] Emisuro: "Liiiike how she has totally eeeevil traits! Like...... her hair!"
[12:12 PM] bREWlager: "What about her hair makes it so evil?"
[12:13 PM] Emisuro: "Like how its eviiiil!"
[12:14 PM] bREWlager: "Auriel, you're going to need some better points than that..."
"What does being evil even have to do with this?"
[12:15 PM] Emisuro: "You wouldn't vote for an eeeevil person would you?"
[12:15 PM] bREWlager: "I've never seen any proof of being evil, so that evidence won't sway my opinion."
[12:17 PM] Emisuro: "But its Trueeeeeeee. That's why you are best friends with Elleeeee not Lumaaa."
[12:19 PM] bREWlager: "....No. Proof."
[12:20 PM] Emisuro: "Yes.... Prooooof."
[12:21 PM] bREWlager: "Auriel, this isn't changing my mind. Try something else."
[12:21 PM] Emisuro: "But it iiiis"
She stood up again, pointing a finger dramatically, but lazily at Leodin
"You just dont knoooow it yet!"
[12:22 PM] bREWlager: Leo stands as well.
"I know it Auriel, Luna isn't evil. Stop trying to tell me that she is, because it's not working."
[12:29 PM] Emisuro: "Ruuuuuude..... I thought we were beeeest frieeeends....."
[12:31 PM] bREWlager: "Oh are we now? I mean, I don't mind you saying that, but I feel like you don't mean it."
[12:40 PM] Emisuro: "But..... sob.... I want to get some vooootees tooo.... sob.... Lumaaa is cheeeating.... so I ask you soo I can have just ooone...."
[12:40 PM] Emisuro: Her crying act was impressive. It would be impossible to discern it from actual crying
[12:41 PM] bREWlager: He sighs. "Well, of course I'll vote for my best friend, but what kind of friendly things have you done lately?"
[12:50 PM] Emisuro: "sob.... I heeeaaal you.... in the friendly way.... sob.."
[12:55 PM] bREWlager: "Huh... how about this: You prove to me that I'm your best friend, and you have my vote, okay?"
[12:56 PM] Emisuro: "Yeeeaah! Totally!"
[1:00 PM] bREWlager: "Okay! Now how are you going to show me what great friends we are?"
[1:03 PM] Emisuro: "Uh...... say frieeend things?"
[1:14 PM] bREWlager: "Just...saying things? Friends normally do things together, you know."
[1:15 PM] Emisuro: "Dooooo they?"
[1:17 PM] bREWlager: "Uh, yes. I believe so."
[1:17 PM] Emisuro: "Huh..... Luuuuuuma didn't saaay that...."
[1:20 PM] bREWlager: "Well, that's why she's not your best friend."
[1:21 PM] Emisuro: "But we totally aaare...."
[1:22 PM] bREWlager: "So you're best friends with an evil person?"
[1:32 PM] Emisuro: "Yeeeees..... Someone haaas to do it..."
[1:34 PM] bREWlager: "Auriel, you're not helping your case. I thought we were best friends." He says, pretending to sound sincere.
[1:34 PM] Emisuro: "Buuut we aaaare..... oh well...."
[1:35 PM] Emisuro: She rises from the bed again, audibly tired
[1:37 PM] bREWlager: He rises as well. "As best friends, we should do something together. Then you will have my vote."
[1:41 PM] Emisuro: "Caaan we do it anooother daaay theeen...... I have woooork to do...."
[1:42 PM] bREWlager: "Sure, anytime."
[1:45 PM] Emisuro: "Yaaay! See you then, Leo-Leo!"
[1:45 PM] Emisuro: She walked towards the exit, waving to him
[1:46 PM] bREWlager: "Goodbye Auriel." He waves back, questioning whether this is all a charade or not. He walks over and closes the door after she leaves.
