[12:18 PM] Daddy John John: Early into the night Jean went into the med Area. It was surprisingly roomy, such in fact that Angard was able to come in with ease. The young man was searching for a concoction, hoping to replace the one he had given to Mund. He tried to stay quiet hoping to not awaken anyone.
"Come on there has to be some concoctions just laying about here..."
[12:20 PM] mika: Vivianna startles when she hears a voice. "J-Jean..Jean is that you?"
[12:28 PM] Daddy John John: Jean tensed up a bit when he heard Vivianna's voice. He hadn't seen the woman since Nikolai had turned them in. He couldn't face her now. Not after failing to save her.
"Um...yes it's me Vivi. I'm just trying to find a concoction and then I'll be on my way."
[12:30 PM] mika: "No..come over to my bed, I haven't seen you in so long. I was scared you were hurt badly."
[12:32 PM] Daddy John John: Jean sighed as he went to the side of Vivianna's bed with Angard at his side.
"You're okay right? Did they harm you while you were in the prison?"
[12:35 PM] mika: She smiles at him, looking worn out and faded. "No..I'm fine, tired but fine. I'm glad I finally got to see you again. Our little group seems to have broken up after that horrid prison."
[12:53 PM] Daddy John John: Jean nodded solemnly.
"Yes a lot of people changed after that. That's no surprise though. It was quite the traumatic experience."
[12:54 PM] mika: "I..I think I came out less naive which is a good thing. Still we're moving on from it. Jean..did you change?"
[1:08 PM] Daddy John John: Jean shook his head.
"I don't really feel like I've changed at all. While I was in the prison I was...a bit stressed because I didn't know if Angard was safe but as soon as I found her everything was alright." Jean scratched under his wyvern's neck prompting her to nudge his cheek in return.
[1:09 PM] mika: "That's good, I'm glad you didn't change too much. I like you as you are right now." She smiles at Angard. "I missed you too Angard."
[1:14 PM] Daddy John John: The wyvern gave Vivianna a nudge as well as Jean smiled.
"Heh. What about you Vivi? Do you feel like you've changed after all of this?"
[1:20 PM] mika: "Yes, me and Sula are not together anymore..I realized that, that I was fooling myself into seeing him the way I wanted and not who he really was. That was a lot for me to take in."
[1:30 PM] Daddy John John: Jean stayed completely silent to take it all in.
"I'm sorry....you two splitting up. It's probably all my fault..."
[1:32 PM] mika: "N-No it wasn't! I just..found out that he wasn't who I thought he was. That's not your Fault at all Jean."
[1:37 PM] Daddy John John: "But if I was a bit stronger...if I was able to save you perhaps all of this wouldn't have happened. Then you would have never had to suffer through any of this..."
[1:44 PM] mika: "No don;t think that Jean, the situation was out of hand..we were out numbered and weaken. No matter what you tried your best ok, you are not at fault." She lays her hand on his. "Me and Sula..this split would have happened sooner or later and I'm glad it was sooner."
[1:50 PM] Daddy John John: Jean just nodded.
"Fine. But still to think of you and Sula separating is strange. I just hope the best for the both of you now."
[1:54 PM] mika: "Is it strange..Me and him don't have much in common..us getting together was the strange part."
[1:59 PM] Daddy John John: Jean combs through his hair.
" I don't find it strange at all actually. Sometimes people find love in the most unexpected of places with people are completely the opposite of you. My uncle Nikolanikov could tell you all about that." Jean chuckles a bit.
[2:02 PM] mika: "Oh do tell..I'd like to hear a positive story of love." She puts a paper crane in his lap.
[2:13 PM] Daddy John John: Jean nods as he looks at the Paper Crane.
"Well, my Uncle Nikolanikov despite being seven years older then my father was married afterwards. He was never a fan of trying to arrange a marriage for himself. He never liked the women of Valenheim. He always thought of them to be vapid and lacking in any form of real emotion. He wanted to find someone who loved him for who he was and not for how much gold he had."
[2:16 PM] mika: "Wow he sounds like a good man."
[2:25 PM] Daddy John John: Jean nods.
"He is indeed. But continuing on he eventually decided to take a trip to a country named Ervisicia on a continent far away from here. That's where he met Yggdra a woman of the Shesha Family, a renown and proud warrior family who were known throughout the continent for their skill with the blade that was second to none."
[2:48 PM] Daddy John John: "It was love at first sight for them. They talked for days upon days and Uncle Nikolanikov spent 5 more months there then planned just to stay with her. Eventually the two of them decided to get married but they ran into some problems to say the least."
[2:52 PM] mika: "Oh wow...what happen?" She leans in closer.
[3:06 PM] Daddy John John: "Her family didn't take kindly to the fact that she was marrying outside of the family. After much arguing about it she was disowned from her family and told to never come back."
[3:08 PM] mika: "Oh no..I understand that all to well."
[3:15 PM] Daddy John John: "Indeed. While it did hurt her, her love for my uncle kept her together. They left back for Gennuir soon after and wed as soon as they came back. And the two have been happy ever since and blessed with two beautiful children."(edited)
[3:17 PM] mika: "Aw, I hope one day I'll have what they have." There are three more cranes around her.
[3:35 PM] Daddy John John: "Don't worry Vivi. I know you will." Jean looks at the cranes around Vivianna.
"At least you've been keeping busy Vivi. These paper cranes are quite beautiful."
[3:39 PM] mika: "Thanks, once of the nurses who take me said if I make 1000, I'll get a wish. So I'm hoping to make 1000. It's something to keep me from sleeping all the time."
[3:49 PM] Daddy John John: "Oh really? Do you know what you're going to wish for when you make all 1000?"
[3:59 PM] mika: "No..wishes are tricky to come up with, maybe I'll give it away..or save from when I really need. What would you wish for Jean?"
[4:05 PM] Daddy John John: Jean thought for a bit.
"I really don't know. I really don't have any ideas on what I would wish for. I stopped wishing for things A long time ago...."
[4:09 PM] mika: She sighs. "Jean, you know you are my dearest friend right."
[4:15 PM] Daddy John John: Jean didn't know what to say in response. It was hard for him to think anyone considering him a friend let alone a dearest friend. And yet he didn't feel that way about others.
"Thank you Vivi. And you're one of my dearest friends as well. I'm glad to know that you're safe."
[4:19 PM] mika: "Am I Jean..do you really see me as a friend?"
[4:24 PM] Daddy John John: Jean nodded.
"While the term might be strange to me you're one of the people I feel the closest with. Will that suffice?"
[4:28 PM] mika: "It does. Say Jean, what are you going to do when this is all over..settle down?"
[4:32 PM] Daddy John John: "I don't know. Probably continue traveling around as a Mercenary. I haven't really thought on settling down yet...."
[4:38 PM] mika: "You're a mercenary?!"
[4:41 PM] Daddy John John: "Yeah, that's what I did before I got caught up in this mess. I had to get some kind of job after I left home so Praline helped me learn how to fight so I could become one."
[4:45 PM] mika: "I..wow..I didn't that at all..I just thought..I don't know what I thought. Maybe you could join Yavae, she's going travel around after all these, going on adventures."
[4:52 PM] Daddy John John: Jean shook his head.
"I wouldn't do something like that. Just in case I wrap other people up in my problems."
[4:55 PM] mika: "I don't want you to be alone again though Jean..I really think you need more company the Angard."
[5:05 PM] Daddy John John: Jean shook his head.
"I'm never lonely with Angard by my side Vivi. She's the only company I've had in my years of living and it's been fine." Angard nodded in agreement.(edited)
[5:05 PM] mika: "..But don't you want more?"
[5:07 PM] Daddy John John: "No I'm fine with less. Like I said I don't want to bring others down with my potential problems."
[5:10 PM] mika: She frowns. "Well..if you get tired of that, you can always come help me on my ranch. I'm sure Angard would enjoy it. I'll have lots of wyverns for her to play with."
[5:12 PM] Daddy John John: "Hmm perhaps. Maybe if your ranch was where my mother bought her from she could possibly catch up with some old family."
[5:16 PM] mika: "Oh that could be nice." She smiles. "And I feel Paris will look up to his uncle Jean."
[5:20 PM] Daddy John John: Jean chuckles a bit.
"Heh. Uncle Jean. That sounds nice strangely enough."
[5:23 PM] mika: She laughs. "It does. I'm sure you'll be a fun uncle."
[5:33 PM] Daddy John John: Jean smiles. Seeing Vivianna again didn't go as badly as he thought it would. There was still Sula to worry about but that would come later.
"I guess that's another reason to see this whole thing to the end. I would like to see little Paris at least once."
[5:37 PM] mika: She touches her stomach. "Thats the reasons I'm seeing this too the end. I don't want him born during this war."
[5:49 PM] Daddy John John: Jean nodded.
"Yeah. Paris should live in a world of peace not one full of strife like this. I'll fight even harder to make sure of that." A smile finds its way onto Jean's face.
"Thank you Vivianna, it was nice talking with you again. I'll make sure to visit you more alright."
[5:53 PM] mika: "You better, else I'll drag you back for a visit." She hugs him.
[6:01 PM] Daddy John John: He hugs her back.
"I will don't worry about it." Angard then gave her a loving nudge on the cheek.
[6:04 PM] mika: She hugs her too. "Stay safe ok Jean."
[6:06 PM] Daddy John John: "Don't worry, I will. I'll see you soon Vivi." With that Jean left with Angard in tow.
