[10:33 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund sighes. It truly was an annoying situation: 3 starving kids and only 1 of them moved at a decent rate. To do things worst, the oldest one is the only one who is uncouncious...
[10:34 AM] Kwakamole: Ethan looks around at the deserted, forboding streets. "A-a-a-are we gonna be okay, Mister?"(edited)
[10:37 AM] Spooky Mika: "Is there like anything to eat too?" Blaise scowls as he rubs his belly.
[10:39 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund was taken by surprised by the two question and saw himself forced to do a smile. Despair was the last thing that the oldest one should express.
[10:40 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Well, if you say to yourself that everything will be OK, then I assure you that things will happen a lot more smootly."
[10:40 AM] ChaoticAce: Drew has a genuine smile as he pulled out a pouch from his belt
[10:41 AM] ChaoticAce: "Actually uh...I....stole some dumplings"
[10:43 AM] Kwakamole: "WOW!" Comforted by Mund's confidence, Ethan looks like he wants to jump at the sound of the word "dumplings". "Blaise! You can eat dumplings!"
[10:44 AM] Spooky Mika: He grins. "Yep yep! Give um here!"
[10:45 AM] ChaoticAce: He hands 2 to each of them
[10:46 AM] ChaoticAce: He puts the pouch away but it doesn't look empty
[10:47 AM] Spooky Mika: He shoves them in his mouth. "Mister you're holding out on us!"
[10:47 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund sees that Drew didn't share all of the dumplings.
"He has more of them. If you kids want them later, just ask him."
[10:48 AM] Kwakamole: "Blaiiise! You can't just say that to him!" Ethan eats one, looks at the second one for a while, and devours it as well.(edited)

[10:49 AM] Spooky Mika: He frowns. "But we are still hungry." He shoots a pointed look at Ethan.

[10:50 AM] ChaoticAce: He looks at Louie and then turns around to make sure there's nothing nearby
[10:51 AM] Kwakamole: Drew notices an archer in the distance, raising their bow as they ran silently towards the group...
[10:51 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Alright, guys, no time to waste. The sooner we get out of here, the better."

[11:05 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: The situation became chaotic in a flash: a kid running around like an headless chicken and screaming is pretty troublesome. Mund eventually follows him to the noodle shop,(edited)

[11:07 AM] Kwakamole: Ethan is hiding under a table, gripping the chair legs in front of him with trembling hands. "N-n-no...."
[11:11 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund didn't know what to say at that moment. His energy was decreasing, so he started to look tired and judging by the distance they run, there was still a fairly long way to go.
[11:12 AM] ChaoticAce: "Listen Ethan, hiding literally isnt helping"

[11:13 AM] ChaoticAce: "Dont scream, dont be scared, just, run"
[11:15 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Plus, the sooner we get out of here, the better for your brother."
[11:16 AM] Spooky Mika: Blaise hops around. "Brother is such a scary cat, if...i-if older brother was awake.."
[11:17 AM] Kwakamole: "Louie.....sniff..." Ethan starts to sob.

[11:19 AM] Kwakamole: He does, however, manage to start crawling out from his hiding place.
[11:19 AM] Spooky Mika: Blaise walks in. "You cry baby! Louie wouldn't want to see you like this cause you look stupid when you cry."

[11:20 AM] Kwakamole: "Y-y-yyou're stupid!!" Ethan covers his face with his hands and turns away, sobbing harder.

[11:21 AM] Spooky Mika: "Ouch!" He jumps back. "Old man!"
[11:22 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund ignores the kid, only focusing on trying to find a way to convince Ethan to get moving.
[11:23 AM] Kwakamole: The sound of a multitude of hooves thunders past the restaurant down the road. But was it the raiding brigade, about to finish the mission and seal the barrier, or a swarm of monsters out for blood?(edited)
[11:23 AM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: Meanwhile, at the barrier hole, the knights were attacked by a group of Pegasus and wyvern riders, led by a Malig knight. The small guys were of little trouble, however, the malig has been proving to be too poweful, occasionally throwing a knight off to the side, and pushing back the defenders.
[C] "Hold on just a bit longer! The rescuers should be back any time now! But first, we gotta finish this Malig!" she said as she rallied the defendors.(edited)
[11:23 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Being blunt to a 10 year old about things like "You die if you stay in here." doesn't sound like a good idea...
[11:24 AM] Spooky Mika: Blaise tugs on his brother arm. "Come on! If we don't leave Louie will d-die!"
[11:25 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "sigh I really hope Sula has an explanation to this..."
[11:25 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Hmm? Did you hear that, Drew?"
[11:25 AM] ChaoticAce: As he heard the sound of hooves he looked at Ethan, and then at Mund
[11:26 AM] ChaoticAce: "Maybe one of us should check what it is?"
[11:26 AM] Kwakamole: Then came the sound of flapping wings, of varying volumes, overhead. It seemed to be going west, towards the castle.
[11:27 AM] Spooky Mika: Blaise is already at the door peaking out
[11:28 AM] Kwakamole: Ethan creeps up behind him, looking over his shorter brother's head. In the distance, they see the gleaming armor of Freyzenese knights, looping around to make their way back to the castle.(edited)
[11:30 AM] Kwakamole: Meanwhile, at the barrier hole, the Malig Knight lets loose a thunderbolt which threatens to surge through Claire's armor...but a ruddy-looking guard jumps in to support her, repelling the attack with his shield. The force throws him to the ground, however, and he nearly looses his footing as bits of his shield splinter off.
[Orleans] "For Freyzenwald! For the people!"
[11:31 AM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: "Right!" she replied as she continues to fight the Malig knight
[11:33 AM] Kwakamole: [Ethan] "I-it's the knights! They're--" The boy looks back out to find they've turned the corner. "...They're gone...."
[11:34 AM] ChaoticAce: "Hm, we should probably hurry before they close the barrier"
[11:35 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund also saw the fliers in the sky, quiet.
[11:35 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Let's get moving, then. I don't want to stay in here any longer."
[11:37 AM] Spooky Mika: He looks away while holding out his hand to his brother. "If you're going to be a scardy cat then you can hold on to me."
[11:38 AM] Kwakamole: Puffing his cheeks in protest, Ethan grips his little brother's hand. "..I'm not scared..."
[11:40 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Then, show it to me." challenged Mund to the young boy. "If we return home, it shows how brave you can be."(edited)

[11:43 AM] Kwakamole: "Y-y-y-...." His little mouth curls up in a little smile of his own. "..y-ou're cool, Mister..." Ethan looks over at his brother, as his smile grows slightly. "...For an old man."
[11:43 AM] Spooky Mika: He snickers.
[11:44 AM] Kwakamole: Ethan runs out the door, still holding onto Blaise, before Mund can scold them.
[11:46 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: He legimitely laughs a bit
"Come on, I'm not that old yet!"
[11:47 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Ok, guys. Let's get moving."
[11:47 AM] Kwakamole: Meanwhile, at the barrier, the Malig Knight withdrew from Claire, and tore into a heavily armored guard with its axe. He retaliated with a hefty poke of his lance , but was downed by a bolt of arcane electricity. The rest of the flyers had fallen, however, and the rest of the soldiers moved in to pin down the rider.
[11:47 AM] ChaoticAce: Drew runs , right behind the two kids
[11:48 AM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: Claire clashes with the Malig knight, but is quickly thrown back.
[11:49 AM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: He's too strong, and the Malig is tough and quick as well....
[11:49 AM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: She said to herself as she pushed herself off the ground
[11:50 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: The group seemed to not run to any problems for a while, except they were moving slowly thanks to Blaise. Nevertheless, they finally managed get close to the barrier.
[11:51 AM] Kwakamole: Orleans swipes at the Malig alongside the rest of his comrades, but few connect, and fewer do any lasting damage beyond its thick armor. With a swirling slash, the rider knocks them away, and sends another spell towards Claire...
[11:53 AM] Kwakamole: Further out, the mounted brigade is approaching the barrier gap, with a considerable amount of rescuees sheltered on their horses. The swarm of enemy fliers descends towards them, seeking to cut them off.
[11:53 AM] Kwakamole: "Ahhh!!! W-we're trapped!" Ethan stops dead in his tracks, not sure whether to run into the battle or away from it.
[11:53 AM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: She stands up and raises her sword to block, but the lunges at the knight, hoping to end it before it could to any more damage
[11:55 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund is forced to attack the fliers with his bow, even with an unconcious child on his back.
[11:56 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "I'm not going to die to some random monsters, right at the front of our goal. Not in a chance!" He sounded rather annoyed.(edited)
[11:56 AM] Kwakamole: The blade pierces its chest, sending ethereal miasma leaking out onto her armor, as the Malig Knight's life fades from its form....only to reignite, as it raises its axe to take her head...And is struck down by a charging Paladin, leading the knights back into safety.
[11:56 AM] Spooky Mika: Blaise stands in front of his brother, holding his arms out.
[11:56 AM] Kwakamole: Three pegasi and a Wyvern break toward the bowmen, while two more of each continue on into the gap, clashing with the wounded knights.(edited)
[11:57 AM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: Claire pulls her sword out, and ends up falling on her bottom. She quickly recovers, and clashes against the wyvern(edited)
[11:58 AM] ChaoticAce: "Don't worry, we can handle this!"
Drew noticing even more fliers approaching, takes out his weapon as well
[11:58 AM] Kwakamole: Orleans shifts to her blind spot, holding back a nearby pegasus as best he can. The cavaliers not carrying civillians quickly double back to help.
[11:59 AM] Kwakamole: Ethan, from behind Blaise, picks up a rock and tosses it at one of the pegasus riders. It falls to Mund's bow.
[11:59 AM] ChaoticAce: He aims at a Pegasi and shoots at it
[11:59 AM] Spooky Mika: He follows his brother lead, starting to throw rocks at them
[12:00 PM] Kwakamole: The little boys' barrage gets the attention of the Wyvern Knight, who lunges down to engage them with a Bronze Axe.
[12:00 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund doesn't even care he missed the shot.
[12:01 PM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: "No!" she finished off the wyvern
[12:01 PM] Spooky Mika: "AH!" He pushes Ethan away.
[12:01 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew shoots down another Pegasi
[12:02 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Ethan, I really appreciate your help, but now it's now or ever. The only thing you can do it's to stay safe!"
[12:02 PM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: She rushes in, blocking the wyvern's axe before it can do anything to the kids
[12:03 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund looks over and sees a rather... familiar face.
"Claire?"
[12:03 PM] Kwakamole: Ethan opens his mouth to scream, as the axe nears him, but it is blocked by Claire's sword. Following behind, Orleans leaps onto the Wyvern, trying to throw its rider off while he bellows with paternal rage.
[12:04 PM] Spooky Mika: "P-Papa!!"
[12:04 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew spots Orleans "oh....oh boy"
[12:04 PM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: "Mund! and Drew?! Quick, get the kids inside the barrier! We'll hold off the enemy!" She yelled as she looked around for any incoming danger
[12:05 PM] Kwakamole: [Orleans] "STAY AWAY FROM MY BOOOYYS!" He embeds his sword into the Wyvern's phantasmal flesh, before being thrown off by the flat of the rider's axe.
[12:05 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: The adrenaline was filling the Outlaw. As soon, he heard Claire's order, he quickly ran into inside of the barrier, dragging to others with him.
[12:05 PM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: Claire turned and quickly slashed the wyvern twice, felling it.
[12:06 PM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: She turns to Orleans, offering a hand
[12:06 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Come on, come on, come on! Let's leave the rest to them!"
[12:06 PM] Spooky Mika: Blaise struggles. "Papa! Papa!"
[12:07 PM] Kwakamole: Accepting Claire's aid, and forgetting his sword, Orleans rushes back behind the barrier, as the rest of the guards finish their clash with the two remaining Sky Knights.(edited)

[12:10 PM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: Claire lurches over and falls on her back, breathing heavily as she caught her breath
[12:10 PM] Spooky Mika: "P-Papa.." He sniffles, hiding his own tears
[12:11 PM] ChaoticAce: "Nice job Claire!"
[12:11 PM] Kwakamole: Orleans staggers over to them, picking up Blaise and Ethan with one arm each. "My boys...!" He holds back tears...for now.
[12:11 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Hey, Claire." He turns to the young mercenary. "Did you see Sula arrive."
[12:12 PM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: "Sula?" she said, panting heavily. "No... I don't think so..."
[12:12 PM] Spooky Mika: He finally start to cry. "Papa!"
[12:12 PM] ChaoticAce: "Mund, you might wanna hand over Louie"
[12:13 PM] ChaoticAce: He motions at Orleans
[12:13 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund was really exhausted at that moment, so he realised that now.
"Oh yeah, you're right..."
[12:13 PM] Kwakamole: "Where have you been?!" Joy resounds through his voice, and he beams at them.
[12:14 PM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: Claire looks upon Orleans and his kids, a warm smile appears on her face
[12:15 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: He moves next to the guard and gives the oldest kid to his father.
[12:15 PM] Kwakamole: "P-p-p-papppa...." Ethan blubbers out his words. "sniff I missed-youuuuu...."
[12:16 PM] Kwakamole: The knights begin to fan out, escorting their sheltered civillians to medical wards, mess halls...some to the burial ground.
[12:16 PM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: She walks over with Orlean's sword, offering it with the handle pointing towards the overjoyed father
[12:17 PM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: "You dropped this"
[12:18 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund couldn't take it any longer. As soon he gave the child to his father, he automatically fells to the ground, dead tired.
[12:18 PM] Kwakamole: He waves it away, taking Louie instead, and gives the three of them a big bear hug. Then he sets the younger brothers down to retrieve his sword. "..Thanks, miss."(edited)

[12:21 PM] Kwakamole: Orleans gives Blaise a light pat on the shoulder with his gauntlet. "Good boy." Looking to the next oldest... "And good job being nice to your brothers, Ethan. I'm proud of you all."
[12:22 PM] Kwakamole: Ethan grins, still crying. Meanwhile, a pair of shrine maidens approach to tend to the wounds of the unconscious knight, some of the civilians, and the exhausted heroes waiting here.
[12:25 PM] Kwakamole: [Ethan] "Papa...Louie needs food. And B-b-blaise too, he's really h-hungry--"
[Orleans] "It's ok, Ethan. There's plenty for everyone. HEY!" He calls out to one of the cavaliers. "Get these three to the mess hall!"(edited)

[12:34 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund was confused by Drew's nervous behavior, but didn't bother to know why. He asked to the guard.
"So, what can I do for you?"
[12:35 PM] Spooky Mika: "Ok but you have to tell me a bedtime story later papa!" He storms off.
[12:35 PM] Kwakamole: Ethan stares at his papa, already missing him, for a few moments, then... "H-hey wait! Brotherrr!" He runs after Blaise, and the three are escorted to the dining hall.(edited)

[12:44 PM] Kwakamole: "...Yeah, I guess." He stretched his hands out, a little worn out from the battle, then walked over to Mund. "Did you happen to see a woman with them? Blonde hair, tall, uh...Her name's Antoinette." Orleans grimaces. "She's their mother."

"I'm sorry... But I'm pretty sure the children were the only ones around that area..."

[1:19 PM] Kwakamole: Disgusted and divided, Orleans turns away from Drew, and kneels down to Blaise. "She....uh..We're still looking for Mama."
[1:19 PM] Spooky Mika: "She's ok right father..she's ok right?!"
[1:21 PM] Kwakamole: He hugs Blaise, but doesn't smile. "I dunno, uh....We'll just have to ask her when we see her..ok?"(edited)

[1:24 PM] Kwakamole: Holding the boy tighter, so that he wouldn't see Papa's tears, Orleans stands up. "Hey...let's just get something to eat, alright?"
[1:25 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew feels relieved he wont get questioned anymore
[1:26 PM] Spooky Mika: "Mmm! I really like the dumpling!"
[1:28 PM] Kwakamole: "We'll get some of those next time. Let's go find your brothers. The grieving guardsman's head turns up towards Drew, but he can't find anything to say right now. His eyes simply narrow with rage, and loss, staring him down one last time.
[1:31 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund understood as soon he saw Orlaens' eyes of hatred and rage towards Drew. He would ask the questions, but at that moment, all he wanted to do was to go to his room and rest. He stands up.
[1:32 PM] Kwakamole: Orleans turns back toward the castle, leaving Blaise facing the Outlaw Bros.
[1:33 PM] Spooky Mika: He looks at them. "Thanks I guess old men for saving my brothers...they're pretty dumb but..they're my brothers."
[1:34 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund smirks and waves to the kid.
"Alright, stay well."
He then turns to the other two.
[1:36 PM] Kwakamole: Orleans carries Blaise up to the mess hall, leaving the Outlaws at the barrier edge.
[1:36 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Alright, I'm going to sleep now. See you."
He then moves to his room on the east ward, although he was walking slowly.(edited)

[1:53 PM] Kwakamole: "...Look, it's, uh...I gotta spend some time with the boys. Whatever it is, you can say it some other time." Orleans continues on toward the mess hall.
