[10:50 AM] ChaoticAce: Drew wandered around reaaaally bored
[10:52 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: After his stay in the hospital and some excelent rest, Mund gets out of the hospital and wanders around for bit.
[10:53 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: The doctors said I just needed to sleep, so nothing extreme happened. Thank the gods...
[10:53 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: After a bit, he sees Drew and waves at him.
"Yo, Drew."
[10:55 AM] ChaoticAce: "MUND! Im happy you didn't have to stay in the hospital for to long"
[10:57 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Yeah, don't worry about me. The doctor said I just needed to rest for a bit, but asides that, nothing wrong."
He laughs a bit.
"Thanks for your help, though."
[11:00 AM] ChaoticAce: "phew now how should we spend the day?"
[2:59 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "I don't know... There's barely anything I can do right now and---"
Mund then spots Sula, the Dwabi who helped him in the 2 previous battles.
"Oh? Hey, Sula."
[2:59 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: He waves at him.
[2:59 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew turned around suprised to see him up and about
[3:00 PM] Kwakamole: Somehow riding through the passageways on the back of his pitch-black pegasus, Sula waves to Drew as he guides Shimi out of a collision course. "Kwemo, milord--"
He then notices Mund. And gives another wave.
"...Nan."(edited)
[3:04 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Nan? Well, I shouldn't care about that, I know he can be little bit crazy.
Mund then asked with a genuine interest
"Say, how are you after the last battle?"
[3:05 PM] Kwakamole: Sula's eyes narrowed, and a half-hearted hum groaned from his throat. "They say I am very close to a full recovery, and can move freely around the castle."
[3:06 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "And your... "son". Is it still alive?"
[3:07 PM] Kwakamole: Sula nods, giving a vapid smile. "Este-i is safe. ...I must thank you, for that."(edited)
[3:11 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Sure, no problem at all. Glad to help."
A silence engolfed the three man.
"Do you know anything we could do in this place? Me and Drew actually have no ideas at the moment."
[3:16 PM] Kwakamole: "Ommm...." Releasing, for a moment, his apprehensions about being near this monster of a man, Sula recalls the results of his random rides through the castle. "Frey-zen forces under...General Gold-light, are going into the streets looking for people to save. I was about to take Shimi-e to go help out."
[3:18 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew was done looking around the area, he was just bored or something "ooh, I would love to get out of the castle for a bit!"
[3:20 PM] Kwakamole: "...Drew-i." Sula's haunted tone was not unlike that night, in the fish cart, after everything had gone so horribly wrong. "You have fought these demons before?"
[3:22 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Apparently, there was another group who fend off these monsters from the castle and Drew was part of it. But changing to the most important..."
[3:24 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "You are saying there has rescue raids for missing civilians..."
[3:25 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Interesting."
He nods, finding resolution in his next action.
[3:25 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Let me help you."
[3:28 PM] ChaoticAce: "I'll come too." He said seriously
[3:30 PM] Kwakamole: Sula sighed. "Tell me something, first, Drew-i...."
[3:30 PM] Kwakamole: He pointed a coiled finger to the outlaw. "What is your Keiji-i with this boy?"
[3:32 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: B-Boy? I mean, it's nice to still be called young, but still...
[3:32 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: For some reason, I felt annoyed when he said that.
[3:43 PM] ChaoticAce: "What does Keiji mean though?"
[3:46 PM] Kwakamole: Sula traces his finger through the air, drawing lines between the three men...and then one from him to the falcon. "It is the ties, that only the heart can see."
[3:50 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "I see..."
Despite the oddness of the sentence and of the air simboles, Mund understood what Sula just said, Although, he still looked kind of skeptical.
[3:52 PM] ChaoticAce: "Oh, uhh..." heart huh? "well...I can relate to him since were both Outlaw's, he's Aaaallmost like a brother...even though we don't see each other that often"
[3:53 PM] ChaoticAce: "So we're Outlaw Bros!"
[3:54 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Damn straight."
[4:07 PM] Kwakamole: Sula looked around the hallway, seeing only a couple guards further down. He dismounted, lowering his voice. "...I still remember the last time Sula-o saw you two together."
[4:11 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund sighed, as he disliked to hear anything about that night.
"Don't even mention it, it gave me enough pain already..."(edited)
[4:13 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "And yes, I know what I did, no need to remind me."
[4:27 PM] ChaoticAce: "Yeah, We've come a long way since then"
[4:45 PM] Kwakamole: He took a step closer to Drew. ".. truly?"
[4:49 PM] ChaoticAce: "Well...were in a castle owned by royalty aren't we?" If we ignore the implication that is
[4:58 PM] Kwakamole: "Ba-bi, indeed!" Sula's voice picks up as he climbs back up onto Shimi. "Then let us meet at the South gate!"
[4:58 PM] Kwakamole: He rides off ahead to prepare.
[5:09 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund follows the Mage Flier as fast he can.
[5:10 PM] ChaoticAce: "Hey wait!"(edited)
[5:10 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew dashes aswell
[5:17 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund arrives at the South gate and awaits to hear Sula's instructions.
[5:21 PM] Kwakamole: It seems the raid has already begun, as a gap ripples outward through the barrier.
[5:21 PM] Kwakamole: A cavalry unit charges through, with Sula holding back waiting for them.
[5:23 PM] Kwakamole: "We're out of time! Ba! Ba!" And with a wave of his arm, Shimi flies through into the city, ascending out of sight. But the barrier remains open for a few more seconds...
[5:28 PM] ChaoticAce: "Come on!" Drew tries to run pass Mund but stays right behind him due to his speed stat
[5:32 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Hearing that, Mund doesn't even flinch. He passes through the barrier with no worries and awaits his two allies.
[5:33 PM] ChaoticAce: The barrier closes right behind Drew's cloak
[5:35 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund saw Drew entering the city... but no signs of Sula at that moment. Either he was left behind the barrier or he already seperated himself from the other two.(edited)
[9:44 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Hey, did you see Sula entering in here?"
[9:45 AM] Kwakamole: A smoky purple figure, riding some kind of Wyvern, descends on the two of them. Behind the rider, a translucent brute throws a heavy stone club at Drew.(edited)
[9:49 AM] ChaoticAce: "I think I di-WHAT" Drew turns around to see where the wing flaps where coming from, and instead saw a giant club, he jumped forward to dodge it, just barely landing on his feet
[9:52 AM] Kwakamole: The club dissipates as it clatters into the ground, like a hateful cloud. As the Wyvern's beating wings bring it closer to the outlaws, the savage suddenly releases the exact same club from their smoky arm, this time aiming at the outlaw next to Drew.(edited)
[9:56 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund doesn't even flinch from that: as soon he saw the the monster's second attack, he swiftly dodged the club.
"Wh...What the hell? They are really this close to the barrier?"(edited)
[9:56 AM] ChaoticAce: "Well it does make sense"
[9:57 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: He couldn't believe it, but that didn't stop him from shooting the "Wyvern" Rider.
[10:01 AM] Kwakamole: The tip of its wing bursts as the arrow pierces the mysterious mount, sending it into a downward barrel roll. Driven by something between discipline and instinct, the rider abandons their Wyvern instantly, brandishing a bronze axe as they fall into Drew. The Oni, meanwhile, throws their club at Mund, attempting to tackle him afterwards with its unarmed arms.(edited)
[10:07 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund didn't even give a sweat: he avoided the club as easy as before. However, he was not expecting the tackle from the monster and when he realised it, he had no choice but to use an arrow at that moment.(edited)
[10:09 AM] ChaoticAce: Drew was a bit dizzy from the Riders tackle, but pushed him off with his feet "An axe huh? I'm not falling for that"
[10:10 AM] ChaoticAce: Drew runs at the rider and grabs the Axe
[10:10 AM] Kwakamole: Wounded by the shot, the savage persists, pushing Mund's shoulders to the ground and attempting to pin him down. The club has not returned to its hand.(edited)
[10:11 AM] Kwakamole: The rider, meanwhile, collapses bluntly to the ground but rises, using its fists to try to damage Drew as much as possible.
[10:12 AM] Kwakamole: From further down the road, an arrow sails towards Mund. It misses both him and the Savage, but the sound of ethereal footsteps draws closer.(edited)
[10:13 AM] ChaoticAce: "This is getting.. Ridiculous!"
[10:14 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund falls to the ground, but lets a sigh out and stabs the Savage swiftly with an arrow.
"We're here for two minutes and monsters already cornered us. This is getting annoying..."
[10:16 AM] Kwakamole: The Savage falls limply to the ground. The rider, meanwhile, sends an armored fist thoughtlessly towards Drew's head.
[10:19 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund gets up as soon he can, and shoots an arrow at the rider's head, in hopes to prevent it from attacking the younger Outlaw.
[10:21 AM] Kwakamole: The arrow barely grazes the assailant's helmet, who in turn misses Drew with their unskilled assault.
[10:23 AM] Kwakamole: Meanwhile, the approaching archer lets loose another shot at Mund. It seems to be alone, but this shot is a little more accurate...
[10:24 AM] ChaoticAce: Drew pushes the Rider, holding the axe with two hands, he then charged at him and swings the axe a little too hard at his neck
[10:26 AM] Kwakamole: The axeman's head is completely severed. A strange lightness fills Drew's borrowed axe, and the decapitated body falls into the ground.
[10:26 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund finds a huge boulder, which would work as a cover, and runs behind it.
"Drew, get cover! There's an archer nearby!"
[10:28 AM] ChaoticAce: Drew stands there for a moment, still looking at the body before snapping out of it
[10:28 AM] ChaoticAce: he looks at Mund and runs over to him
[10:30 AM] Kwakamole: An arrow sails past Drew, arcing fast and wide. The archer silently draws the bow once more..
[10:33 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund thought that this was a moment of gamble: judging by the sound of his surroundings, the archer was the only one left. If they stay there, either the archer could kill one of them, or maybe both, and more monsters could've arrive.
[10:34 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: He gets away from cover, readies his bow and shoots the monster in front of him.
[10:39 AM] Kwakamole: The archer releases the arrow just as Mund's attack pierces its heart. But before its translucent arrow can strike the Outlaw, it melts into mist. The same thing is beginning to happen to Drew's axe.
[10:41 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "That was... too reckless..."(edited)
[10:41 AM] ChaoticAce: "Aw man I kinda wanted to keep it.."
[10:41 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: He lets out a sigh of relieve.
[10:42 AM] ChaoticAce: **he stands up and starts walking as he watches the Axe dissolve in his hand"
[10:43 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Good job in surviving, at least."
[10:43 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Now, now. What to do?"
[10:44 AM] ChaoticAce: "Seeing them up close felt....familiar"
[10:45 AM] ChaoticAce: Drew was still staring at the ground before looking up again "well anyway, we should look for Sula"
[10:48 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund could've tell that something was wrong with Drew, but now it wasn't the time. There are times to speak about the past and this was obviously not one of them.
"You're right... Now, if I were a weird mage flying a black pegasus in the sky, where would I go?"
[10:49 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Let's get moving, this obvioulsy didn't help at all."
[10:50 AM] ChaoticAce: "Hopefully he didnt draw the attention of any other of those flying monsters"
[10:51 AM] ChaoticAce: "Did...what happens if someone tries to visit the city? I feel like there should be some sort of sign"
[10:51 AM] ChaoticAce: Drew started jogging
[10:56 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund follows him quietly, trying to not making any kind of noise to hear his surroundings better.
[10:57 AM] Kwakamole: Both of them can hear the sound of fell hooves approaching from a parallel boulevard, clattering dreadfully against the stone. But whose hooves?(edited)
[10:59 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund pushes Drew's coat and warns him.
"Hey, Drew. Stay still for a bit..."
[10:59 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "I think I'm hearing something."
[11:00 AM] ChaoticAce: Drew stops
[11:00 AM] Kwakamole: The mysterious mount rides closer, almost directly across from them and obscured by a row of buildings.
[11:02 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund prepares his bow, in case it was another monster. He felt he was in a good enough distance from where sounds were coming.
"Who's there?"
[11:05 AM] Kwakamole: No answer. The galloping thing rides on past them, approaching a junction in the roads up ahead. They'll be turning the corner soon....
[11:06 AM] ChaoticAce: Drew pulls out his bow nervously as it rode past
[11:06 AM] ChaoticAce: "That was creepy"
[11:07 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Before the mysterious being turns, Mund makes a warning shot to find some reaction.
[11:09 AM] Kwakamole: "Nan--!" The familiar sound of Sula's agitated voice can be heard...from the opposite direction of the rider.(edited)
[11:10 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "What the..."
Mund seems confused by the situation.
"Huh... Sula? Is that you?"
[11:10 AM] Kwakamole: A misty cavalier turns the corner, charging down the road towards the outlaws.
[11:11 AM] ChaoticAce: "Oh come on!" Drew draws his bow and fires at the misty one
[11:13 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Gods, why us?"
Mund jumps out from the charging beast's way. He automatically called for help.
"Sula, I know you're there! Give us assistance."
[11:13 AM] Kwakamole: "Wo-u-loooo~"
[11:14 AM] Kwakamole: At that moment, Shimi vaults over the rooftops, and her rider sends a flickering, spectral Ox after the arrow-struck Cavalier. It misses.
[11:15 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund stands up and makes aim at the Cavalier, shooting an arrow to it.
[11:16 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Okay, I still have some energy left. So far so good...
[11:17 AM] Kwakamole: The rider is hit by the arrow, but keeps steady. Both horses, reaching opposite ends of the street, circle around and charge at each other with the outlaws in the center.
[11:21 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Uuh... This is an horrible spot to stand..."
Mund grabs Drew's arm and drags him away from the "battlefield". This situation was getting frantic far too quickly.
[11:24 AM] ChaoticAce: Drew runs with him but looks back to see what happens
[11:25 AM] Kwakamole: The moment the young men are clear, Sula releases another Ox. It strikes the rider weakly...but with the arrow wounds, it's enough. The rider falls, slowly melting away along with the horse.
[11:28 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "That was... a little too close for my taste..."
Mund takes an heavy breath. He turns to Sula and starts to talk to him.
"I'm happy to have you here, but where were you after all this time?"
[11:33 AM] Kwakamole: The Dwabi stares at his scroll for a few moments. Was it getting worse...or just him?
"Sula-o was following the group, but some demons left for here....I thought it might be you."
[11:39 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "It might be... me? What do you mean by that?"
[11:40 AM] ChaoticAce: .....demons?
[11:41 AM] Kwakamole: "That they came for you." His eyes darted around the currently-empty streets. "There will be more, soon."
[11:41 AM] ChaoticAce: "We should make this quick then!"
[11:45 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund was shocked after hearing Sula's sentence. But there was no time for that, he would ask Sula for an explanation later. He felt he was going to ask something pointless, but better safe than sorry.
"Sula, did you hear or spot anyone on your way here?"
[11:49 AM] Kwakamole: "I wonder." Sula snapped the reins, and Shimi began a light gallop matching the running pace of a person. "There was a tower, with demon archers...There may be people, but I can't get close." Another glance at the Ox Spirit, and his fell Falicorn's fragile feathers. "Not like this."(edited)
[11:52 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Are you talking about your pegasus being frail against arrows?"
[11:53 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "If that worries you too much, we can leave it somewhere. But this place is the shaddiest I've seen in a while, I don't think she would survive by herself."
[11:55 AM] ChaoticAce: "We could get some meatsheilds for Shimi" He joked(edited)
[11:56 AM] Kwakamole: The Dwabi hardly seems to hear them, suddenly transfixed by the blazing sun hanging over them. He gazes into it as if it were some kind of holy text, stroking a dark tattoo over his neck.
"...I can keep them busy, at least. Then you two can seek the tower."(edited)
[11:58 AM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Are you really sure you want to do this? I mean, a fall from the sky screams "Death!" to me."
[11:59 AM] Kwakamole: He shakes his head, with a serious smile. "I see no death in our sky. Just be careful."
[12:00 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund smirks.
"Very selfless from you."
[12:02 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew stays alert by looking around
[12:02 PM] Kwakamole: "...Ha." And he snaps the scroll into his hand. "Ba!" Shimi kicks off, flapping low over the roofs, as Sula swings an outstretched finger southward towards a fairly prominent tower in the distance. The pitch-black pegasus keeps a quick pace, difficult to follow on foot.
[12:04 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew glances at the tower
[12:05 PM] ChaoticAce: "Alright then, we know where we gotta go"
[12:06 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund watches where Sula is pointing at and sees a tower in the horizon. As soon Drew said that, Mund nods.
"Alright then, let's get moving."
[12:06 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund starts to run to the tower.
[12:08 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew dashes as well
[12:10 PM] Kwakamole: Spotting a pair of Samurai in the alleyway below a burning building, Sula grunts, sending the Ox crashing into the roof. Sections of it break off and fall onto them, distracting the demons as the Outlaws pass.
[12:13 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Eventually, after a while and almost no problems, Mund eventually arrives at the tower's entrance and awaits for Drew's arrival.
[12:16 PM] Kwakamole: Above them, Sula prepares an especially powerful attack, as a full-bodied Ox streaks past the top of the watchtower. A quartet of archers fire at it from balconies about two-thirds of the way up the tower, tearing its ethereal form apart. Grimacing, he keeps out of their sight, whirling the scroll around to try the trick again.
[12:22 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: There was no time to waste, Drew was not coming any closer and Sula wouldn't survive for so long. Mund opens the doors slowly (they were a bit heavy) and asks:
"Hello, anyone there?"
[12:27 PM] Kwakamole: Mund's voice rings through the empty lower levels. The archers above fire at the Ox once more, but stop at the sound. Sula lets the scroll's cord slide down to his elbow, and grips the reins with both hands. He calls out to the archers:
"Nanyo!"
Shimi circles around the tower, far enough out that their arrows are easy enough to evade for now.
[12:29 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew finally catches up
[12:31 PM] ChaoticAce: His bow and arrow already drawn "gee good thing someone helped me out against that purple mercenary"
[12:32 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: I would be surprised if someone answered, to be honest.
Mund explores the place, with his bow in hand, in case of a surprise attack.
[12:33 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: He turns to Drew, with an embarassed and apologetic expression.
"Sorry, sorry."
[12:34 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew lowers his voice as he enters
[12:34 PM] ChaoticAce: "So there all up there?"
[12:37 PM] Kwakamole: They can hear only a storm of arrows...and the boisterous boasting of the Dwabi being shot at.
[12:37 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Let's hurry, then."
[12:41 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund rushes to the stairs and starts to climb them, as he knew time was shortning for Sula. Mund looked back and saw Drew following him. For each floor they arrived, he asked the same question:
"Hello? We came here to rescue you."
The lack of monster inside of the tower was almost suspicious, but he didn't care.(edited)
[12:42 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: He arrived at the final available floor and asked:
"Hello? We came to rescue you."
[12:45 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew was right behind him, bow drawn just in case
[12:49 PM] Kwakamole: "G-get us out of here! Louie's..he's-"
The young boy's voice, muffled from above the ceiling, was cut off by the sound of a kitsune transforming. It leaps silently at the two of them.(edited)
[12:52 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: As soon he entered the room, Mund walked around and found himself witnissing a Kitsune transformation. Its hostility changed towards the two Outlaw, but Mund didn't reacted as fast as he usually does and stands there.(edited)
[12:52 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew rushes in and shoots the Kitsune down(edited)
[12:57 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund gets surprised and congratulates the young Outlaw.
"Good job, Drew. Let's take out the survivors from the ceiling."
[1:01 PM] ChaoticAce: "R-right"
[1:02 PM] ChaoticAce: thank god that kitsune was just another monster
[1:02 PM] ChaoticAce: Drew took a few deep breaths to calm down
[1:32 PM] Kwakamole: "H-hello?!"
The same voice calls out from the roof.(edited)
[1:34 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Don't worry, we'll take you out as soon as we can. Drew, help me out for a bit."
[1:35 PM] Kwakamole: The child's voice breaks into a weak cough.
[1:42 PM] ChaoticAce: "I think they might need some medicine"
[1:42 PM] ChaoticAce: "Lets hurry"
[1:45 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: After a bit of work, the two Outlaws helped the survivors in there. Mund was shocked by what he was seeing in front of him: three children were there, looking miserable, unclean and frail. One was particulary weaker than the others.
[1:46 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "Ok, we are not the most trustworthy looking guys around here, but please trust us. We came here to rescue you."
[1:47 PM] ChaoticAce: "It's not like you have many other options"
[1:50 PM] Kwakamole: All three were boys, with the oldest one doubled over and unresponsive. The other two looked up at their rescuers, silently, tearfully.
[1:52 PM] Kwakamole: "..okay."
[1:54 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund turns to the oldest one.
"Can you walk on your own? The other look far worse than you, so I think both me and Drew will carry the other two."
He turns to the oldest kid.
"Oh, I forgot. The name is Mund. How about you?"(edited)
[1:55 PM] ChaoticAce: "Guess I got you" he picks up the youngest one
[1:58 PM] DiurnalKnight!: In a sudden burst of bubbles, a small girl in a black robe suddenly appears on the nearest rooftop and faceplants immediately(edited)
[2:04 PM] Kwakamole: Surprised to see a civillian falling out the air, Sula withdraws from the tower onto the rooftop. "Kwemo! We have to go now!" He places a firm hand on Shimi-e's mane. "..Can you get on?!"
[2:04 PM] Kwakamole: The oldest child neither responds nor moves. "Louie's sick..." The second-oldest looks up at Mund. "I-I'm Ethan. Please, help him..!"
[2:07 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "...I'll see what I can do. I have a flier out there buying us time to escape. As soon we arrive downstairs, I'll try to call him and give you three a way to get away from here."
[2:08 PM] DiurnalKnight!: She's still laying there on the roof rather pathetically
[2:09 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund goes to his pocket and takes out a small piece of bread. The only food he brought...
"Here, share between you three."
[2:09 PM] Kwakamole: Sula gives the Falcon a pat and a "Ba", leaping off as she takes to the skies. Stray arrows pass over the roof. The Dwabi lands beside her and lifts her from the roof, keeping his bare feet steady and balancing carefully.
[2:10 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Eep!" Regie suddenly sits up at the sound of someone landing nearby "S-sorry!"
[2:10 PM] Kwakamole: Trembling, Ethan hands the entire piece to Louie, giving him a poke in the cheek to wake him up.
[2:11 PM] Kwakamole: Sula's eyes widen in recognition, upon hearing the girl's voice and getting a closer look at her outfit. "Re-ji! Why are you here?!"
[2:12 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "sorry! i wasn't tr-trying to!"
[2:12 PM] Kwakamole: Louie groans, as his mouth idly accepts the meal. Ethan's practically shoving it down.(edited)
[2:13 PM] Kwakamole: "Don't worry, we--He-Kola!" Sula pulls her down just before more arrows pass overhead. "We cannot stay!"
[2:14 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: "...Let's get moving, Drew."
[2:14 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "EEP!" She quickly wriggles out of his grasp(edited)
[2:15 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund starts to move, as soon Ethan stopped to give the bread to his oldest brother and for him to eat it.(edited)
[2:16 PM] Kwakamole: Sula's arms pull back, and he jerks his shoulder down to ready the Ox Spirit. The bovine specter runs out erratically from the rooftop to the archers' tower, doing little but drawing their fire for a moment. "Shimi-e can get us out! Can you hold on to her?"(edited)
[2:18 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Wh-what?!"
[2:18 PM] Kwakamole: The youngest brother quickly gobbles his share. Ethan tries dragging his big brother, but is too weak to move him.

Mund picks up the oldest kid, giving him a piggyback ride, and pushes the other by his hand.
"Let's get going. The sooner we get out, the sooner they'll be better."(edited)
[2:23 PM] Kwakamole: "...True." Sula grimaces, seeing a pair of oncoming Sky Knights off in the distance. "But she has been better about that these days..!"
[2:24 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "B-but..." Before she can finish her sentence, one of the archer's arrows grazes her arm, and she stops, looking shocked
[2:26 PM] Kwakamole: "Nanyo!" Sula launches the Ox at the tower once more, forcing the archers to dive back for cover. "Hey, Shimi-e!" Calling her back to the rooftop, Sula kneels over to Regie for a moment. "We have to try."(edited)
[2:27 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "m-m-m-m-mY ROBE!" She blushes, looking a bit angry, then pulls a tome out of the folds of her robe. The large book has an ominous black and purple cover. She begins chanting something...
[2:29 PM] Kwakamole: "B-Ba-bi...!" Sula moves out of the way, bracing himself for something big...
[2:29 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: The five get down the stairway with almost no problems. Mund got tired for carrying the heaviest of the kid, but that didn't stopped him. Eventually, they arrive at the ground floor. (edited)
[2:31 PM] DiurnalKnight!: The tome suddenly shoots out a torrent of ominous orbs literally dripping with black magic, which surround one of the archers and seems to simply drain the life out of him. The small bleeding cut on her arm slowly fixes itself. "l-let's please leave now!"
[2:33 PM] Kwakamole: "You are..Nanshatu!" The Dwabi is shocked at her witchcraft...and in this case, grateful. Shimi lands abruptly on the roof next to them. "..Shimi-e will accept you, come on!" He leaps onto the saddle, extending a hand to help her up.(edited)
[2:38 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: A Samurai was at the front, but it looked far more damaged than usual, most likely due to Sula's Magic. But the situation was far from easy...
[2:39 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "h-huh...?" She instead elects to try to pull herself onto the saddle on her own
[2:39 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Now, we have three wounded children who have starved for a few days...
[2:40 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: He sees no other choice: he calmly puts Louie on the ground, picks up his bow and snipes the Samurai away.(edited)
[2:42 PM] Kwakamole: Shimi's wings tense with surprise, but she does not attempt to stop the young witch from climbing on. Sula exhales slightly, placing his hand back on the reins and waiting for her to finish mounting.
[2:44 PM] DiurnalKnight!: She does so, doing her best to not make contact with Sula as much as possible
[2:45 PM] Kwakamole: He, in turn, stays far up the saddle to leave plenty of distance. "Not too fast, Shimi-e... Ba--"
[2:46 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: Mund picks up the almost uncounscious kid and the two, with the three kids with them ran towards the entrance, after the Samurai disappearing at front of them. Mund waves to the sky, in the hopes Sula see them.
[2:48 PM] Kwakamole: Shimi leaps off the roof, gliding down the street as far away from the tower as possible. They loop back around and proceed to the edge of the barrier where the raid began.
[2:49 PM] DiurnalKnight!: Regie lets out loud incoherent screaming as they go
[2:56 PM] Kwakamole: "Don't fall, Re-ji!" Sula sees the Sky Knights pursuing, about to cut them off, and is forced to turn them away from the castle.
[2:58 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "WH-WHERE ARE WE GOING?" She seems to not understand volume control at the moment
[3:01 PM] [BSpicy]Bemoney: Meanwhile, back at the castle, Claire and a small group were making sure monsters didn't enter while the rescue raiders were rescuing
[3:04 PM] Kwakamole: "Too much Pega-sus! We can't go that way!!" The Dwabi looks over his shoulder, seeing that each of the Sky Knights also happens to be carrying an archer. "Nanyo!"
[3:07 PM] DiurnalKnight!: She continues screaming
[3:09 PM] Kwakamole: The aerial chase continues over the city, with a Wyvern Knight joining the other two pursuers. "If we can just lose them..!" Shimi descends towards the street, into the towering shade cast by Tesamaaru Castle.
[3:11 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: After waving for a whole 5 minutes, Mund gives up in trying to call for Sula's attention...
[3:12 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: The Mage Flier was nowhere to be seen and the atmosphere was quiet, yet heavy...
[3:13 PM] EndumAndTheWorld: He had an idea and he didn't like it.
"Drew, we have to walk our way into the barrier."
[3:14 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "I W-W-WANNA GO HOOOOOME!"
[3:15 PM] ChaoticAce: "Nnnnooo!"
[3:15 PM] ChaoticAce: He sounded really annoyed
[3:16 PM] ChaoticAce: And he's probably still carrying the youngest one still idk the rp got confusing
[3:18 PM] Kwakamole: They touch down in an alleyway, with no nearby monsters yet. Shimi gives a frustrated neigh in response to Regie's cries. The rider looks up and sees the trio of monstrous fliers pass over them. He prays they weren't noticed.
[3:19 PM] DiurnalKnight!: Regie might be hyperventilating
[3:22 PM] Kwakamole: Sula gazes into the surrounding dimness, with a sober expression. "..We are safe, Re-ji. You will not die today."
[3:25 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "i don't w-w-wanna die..."
[3:26 PM] Kwakamole: "No, no. And you can get back. I will get you close to the castle..." Sula closed his eyes, giving a somber nod. "..Then all you need to do is run."
[3:27 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "r-run?!"
[3:28 PM] Kwakamole: "To the barrier. Sula-o will keep the demons busy." The Dwabi hums softly, steadying his own breathing.
[3:30 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "i'd die! y-you'd die!"
[3:31 PM] Kwakamole: "Don't worry. Just run..and you will be fine."
[3:41 PM] DiurnalKnight!: Before she can respond, a monsterous faceless suddenly barges into the alleyway, it seems to be being followed by several more of its kind. The beasts begin to charge, Regie screams and then- nothing. For a moment, there's just a vision of bubbles, and then....
[3:42 PM] DiurnalKnight!: They would find themselves back in the stables! Regie already falling out of the saddle
[3:49 PM] Kwakamole: Startled, Sula clings tighter to Shimi, failing to understand the magic around him. "What is this Pelai..?"
[3:50 PM] DiurnalKnight!: She falls onto the floor, shuddering and nauseous
