[AG1] Breaking Up

Featuring: Vivianna, Sula

January 8, 2017
[8:39 AM] M I K A: When they were let out, she took a deep breath, marveling at how much she had missed the sunlight. She stands frozen in the light before coming back. As she watches her friends come out she can’t help but smile..they had survived..they were free again..she hugs herself. This horrid nightmare was over. For a moment she stands there looking lost before taking off, running like demons were chasing her. She ran until her legs cried out in pain, which makes her slump over and falls into a shallow pond. The water is frigid and steals her breath away. The cold calms her, though..makes her legs cool down. Before she knows it she’s crying. She’s sobbing, wailing almost as she floats in the icy water. She can’t stop the tears and she wants to scream once more. The prison had shown her too much about the man she wanted to wed..shown her that she didn’t know him nor did he know her. It showed that perhaps he didn’t love her..perhaps he thought her a burden to him. M-Maybe mother was right..one shouldn’t marry for love..one should marry for wealth and status.. She clutches the necklace around her neck…what the hell even was this to him..She pulls on it till it hurts before it finally breaks and falls into the water. The sound of it hitting the water almost calms her..no more would she be the weak lovesick girl..no more would she be a burden to him..no more would she stand in the way of his life and happiness. She is warm now..and sleepy..the water coldness didn’t feel so bad anymore. She smiles now, feeling sluggish and tired. It wouldn't be so wrong to sleep here. With the last of her strength, she pulls herself out and lays curled up on the banks. Yes, she would sleep..just a little nap before heading back. Her eyes drift close as her hand lays itself on her stomach.(edited)

[7:28 PM] Kwakado: "Vivi-e? Vivi-e!" Shimi gallops along another cliffside, while her rider searches desperately for his lover. There had been no sign of her at the convoy... Only the eager cries of rebel soldiers, the clattering of countless coins. The thought of losing her, too, terrifies the double-dealing Dwabi, causing him to cry only louder as he surveys the wilderness of Angrim. But something within hopes he would find some monster... One of the lunatics behind the prison....something to take, in return for all he's lost.
[7:32 PM] M I K A: The girl in question is slowly waking up. How..how did she..ohh, memories come rushing back as she starts to shiver. Maybe she shouldn't have taken a bath in such a cold stream. She stretches and yawns, standing again. Oh the sun looked wonderful today. She sways and hugs herself tight trying to gain warmth. "Sing with me a song..~"
[7:38 PM] Kwakado: Finally, his ears pick up the song. Sula gives Shimi an encouraging pat, sending her swooping down to the stream. "Dwa-o-kati, Byana-hi, Kwati-me..." The moment they land, Sula runs through the river, splashing loudly enough to drown out his panting.
[7:39 PM] M I K A: She quickly turns at the loud sound. Sula! For a moment she smiles but that quickly leaves her face as she watches him. "..Sula what's the rush?"
[7:41 PM] Kwakado: "Where have you been?! I could not find you.." Sula looks down at her, prone in the middle of the frigid water. "Oh, g-gods..."
[7:42 PM] M I K A: "I've been here. I..I really needed a bath..." She looks away, watching the water ripple.
[7:44 PM] Kwakado: "This mountain-water... It is no place for a bath." Sula squats down, reaching out to take her hand.
[7:45 PM] M I K A: She stands without his help. "You're right but..this mountain water helped clear my head. In fact..it clear most of my senses."
[7:52 PM] Kwakado: "Kwemo..." He lowers his hand apprehensively. "But we have to get you warm...I can start a fire." He withdraws the fire tome they earned for betraying their allies, opening it as he searches for a suitable spot.
[7:54 PM] M I K A: She sits by a tree and looks at him hard..she couldn't..no she would. "Sula..how about..we..don't marry."
[8:00 PM] Kwakado: "Hh...what?"
[8:01 PM] M I K A: "I..I don't want..to marry you anymore."
[8:07 PM] Kwakado: "But..." Sula blinks, having completely failed to predict this. "..no, that's..."
[8:11 PM] M I K A: She rubs her arm and looks at him. "I..we are too different..back when we were together in the prison..you were so different perhaps that was the real you..so..l-lets break up."
[8:13 PM] Kwakado: "F-forget the prison!" Sula's arm whips out to the side, as if drawing a curtain between them and the towered complex behind them. "We do not have to go there, ever again. We don't have to stay in Khlin anymore!"
[8:15 PM] M I K A: "What are you talking about? Where are you going?"
[8:22 PM] Kwakado: "Hold still." Trying to keep his shock aside for a moment, Sula raises the tome, lighting a small magical fire between them. Then he sits down abruptly, the grief starting to form on his face. "I...We need to leave. This country is...too dangerous..."
[8:25 PM] M I K A: "...I'm not leaving with you Sula..I understand the danger but I'm not leaving my friends..especially not for my..e-ex."
[8:31 PM] Kwakado: "Vivian-na." Sula folds his hands together. "I...I understand. You deserve something more than this...more than life with Sula-e."
[8:34 PM] M I K A: She looks away, frowning. "I..I'm glad you understand."
[8:36 PM] Kwakado: "Just..." His heart was screaming. "..At least let me take you somewhere safe, before we part! I can fly you anywhere...even Nohr..."
[8:40 PM] M I K A: "..N-No I'm staying here ok. I won't abandon my friends."
[8:43 PM] Kwakado: "We are not, abandoning them..!" Sula clutches at his robe, annoyed by her accusation. "...It...would they be happy, if you died here with them? This is best for us all."
[8:49 PM] M I K A: "I..I don't want to live in a world where I'm safe but all my friends could be dying. I'm staying Sula..I'm needed here."
[8:52 PM] Kwakado: "But what of Paris?! My son!??" Sula shakes his head. "A week ago, you wanted this! You asked me to choose between you and Khlin...and..I chose."
[8:55 PM] M I K A: "I didn't think it meant leaving all out friends behind. And you're I wanted this but..who are you Sula..who was that man in the prison who wouldn't even comfort his wife! A week ago I knew you but now.." She turns away now, hiding her stomach behind her arms.
[8:59 PM] Kwakado: "You never knew me! That was the only way--" Sula's lips tremble, as it starts to dawn on him. "--the only way, we could be together..."
[9:03 PM] M I K A: "I never knew you..and you never wanted me to know. God Sula..this is a goodbye ok."
[9:12 PM] Kwakado: "Vivi-e...no." Sula stands up, pushing off from the ground abruptly. "If we are to say goodbye, it will be somewhere else. Not on this battlefield...not in Khlin. If you wish to return, then do it! Just..." He steps past the fire, moving gently towards her. "At least wait, for after the war."(edited)
[9:14 PM] M I K A: "Then this isn't a goodbye but..its a new chapter...you're not my Sula-e anymore." She stands as well. "I'm glad I got to spend time with you."
[9:19 PM] Kwakado: Her remark stings him visibly, and Sula recoils back a moment. ".......as, did I." He extends his hand once more, looking away this time. "Shimi-e! Time to go, Shimi-e!"
[9:20 PM] M I K A: She takes his hands and squeeze it..gods would she miss this. Her touch lingers before she drops his hand. "Take me back now."
[9:27 PM] Kwakado: "Yes...yes." She had spent so long in the stream...and yet her hand feel so warm to the touch, somehow. "We'll need to stop along the way...Nohr is far from here."(edited)
[9:28 PM] M I K A: "What..no I'm not going home..I'm going back to where our friends are Sula." She takes a step past him.(edited)
[9:30 PM] Kwakado: Sula steps back, keeping in line with her. "I have seen the future of this land. I won't let you die here!"
[9:32 PM] M I K A: "And I won't! And that future seeing of yours..is it even right! You saw us getting wed but here we are..not doing that."(edited)
[9:40 PM] Kwakado: "You...!" Sula stands in her way, the air around him starting to darken. Just as it had when they were escaping the prison. "You are acting like a child. Don't throw your life away for this."(edited)
[9:41 PM] M I K A: "I might be, but you can not tell my what to do! I will stay safe and protect myself and my child!" She walks around him fast.
[9:49 PM] Kwakado: "EnOugh!" Sula throws out his arm as he chases after her, trying to keep her from running off. It's coated in a dark, purplish haze, that seems to cover even his voice....(edited)
[9:51 PM] M I K A: She gasp. "W-What is that?! What are you?!" She falls back..shielding herself.
[10:00 PM] Kwakado: The swirling mist surrounds Sula, smoking and smoldering like a bonfire. Its fell light seems to shine through his skin itself, revealing the ground behind him. The voice that comes out can hardly be considered his own. "No escape...hhahahahhhkkk--" The figure charges ahead, then stops suddenly, twitching in place for a moment as a pair of black holes gaze down into her own eyes. A taut arm raises up the Fire tome, inch by inch...
[10:03 PM] M I K A: She screams, sending a wave of magic out that cause the tome to light up in his hands. "Y-You're a monster! I..I..I hate you!"
[10:18 PM] Kwakado: "RrRrrun--" The last thing she sees is a flickering in his eyes as her voice reaches them...and for a moment, Sula's expression snaps from a twisted smile into a shocked shout. Then, with a loud crack, his face is engulfed in a burst of arcane fire from his own tome, throwing him back from her.(edited)
[10:21 PM] M I K A: She looks at him in shock before running over. "Sula! Sula! Oh please be ok!"
[10:24 PM] Kwakado: "Aaaauuuughhh!!!" Sula covers his face with his hands, as a furious falicorn runs towards them. He's shrouded in purples and oranges, like an arcane effigy. "Get away from me! Run!"(edited)
[10:27 PM] M I K A: She looks troubled but closes her eyes and runs the other way. She was a coward it seemed. She makes it a few feet away but can't leave...what if he died because of her..what if she killed him! God damn it! She turns around. "Sula!" She turns to get some of the river water.
[10:35 PM] Kwakado: She turns to see him and his mount already taking off up the Angrim mountains, with smoke sifting off of his face as he rides further and further away. All that is left behind is the fire tome, neatly closed, with a strange gem glittering on the cover.
[10:38 PM] M I K A: For a moment she feels like she can't move but that spell is broken as she runs over to the tome..she looks at it and picks it up. Breaking up...was a lot harder then she realized. She hugs the tome, finally letting tears fall before heading back to the prison..ah her heart hurt.
[10:39 PM] M I K A: =End Rp=
