[AG1] The Military Situation

Featuring: Ellis, Leodin

[7:57 PM] Amasuro: After her meeting with Valentinus, Ellis re-entered the prison, walking back with the intention of returning to her room. A rather interesting encounter, but the paperwork wasn't going to finish itself. Ellis really had no idea how her sister managed this group without any sort of organization.

[8:01 PM] bREWlager: Leodin was also in the prison, currently looking for Princess Ellis. He hadn't seen her in so long, and wanted to see her again, recently learning of her decision to go to battle with them. He spotted the princess near her room and walked up to her with a smile on his face. "It's been a while, Princess Ellis."

[8:18 PM] Amasuro: Ellis paused in her tracks. A short delay, with Leodin unable to see her face, before she turns her head towards him. "Ah! Sir Leodin! It has been some time," Ellis spoke with surprise, as she turned her body towards him. Once she was completely facing him, she greeted the man with a bow.

[8:23 PM] bREWlager: He bows as well and walks up to her. "You coming here was very unexpected, milady."

[8:28 PM] Amasuro: "Perhaps. But it was necessary. I am glad to see that you are still doing well for yourself, sir Leodin." Ellis smiled towards the man.

[8:30 PM] bREWlager: "And you as well." he smiles. "I also quite like the new color scheme."

[8:33 PM] Amasuro: "Oh, you mean my dress?" She holds out the sides, looking down towards her own dress. "Hmm, yes. It is a new look for me, but I am glad you like it."

[8:35 PM] bREWlager: "Are you heading anywhere milady? Perhaps I could accompany you."

[8:37 PM] Amasuro: "Nowhere in particular. I was simply returning to my room so I could get my work done." She nodded towards him, "perhaps you are interested in joining me? We could have a discussion while I work."

[8:41 PM] bREWlager: "Sounds great. Shall we get going then?"

[8:43 PM] Amasuro: "We do not need to move far. My room is just right here," Ellis walks slightly further down the hallway before gesturing to a door on the side.

[8:44 PM] bREWlager: "Ah, okay then." He follows her over to the door.

[8:44 PM] Amasuro: Ellis opens the door, and gestures Leodin inside.

[8:45 PM] bREWlager: He bows his head and walks inside, waiting for Ellis to follow.

[8:47 PM] Amasuro: The room inside is small, with bookcases lining both sides of the wall. The decor is limited, with nothing but a few wooden chairs stacked neatly along one empty corner, and another couch nearby the door, pushed up against the wall. In the back of the room, beneath a large window, stood one large wooden desk, and an intricitely designed, tall backed chair pushed against it. Numerous pieces of paper of varying sizes were stacked up neatly on top of the desk. Ellis followed behind Leodin, and closed the door behind her.

[8:49 PM] bREWlager: "Not as decorated as Tesamaaru Castle, but I like the room."

[8:55 PM] Amasuro: "Yes, it is but a simple workroom. Thankfully, they let me borrow it for the time being. Ellis moved around to where the chair was and sat down.

[8:57 PM] bREWlager: Leodin finds another chair and sits. "What kind of work do you need to do, milady?"

[9:06 PM] Amasuro: "It is related to our forces. I am reviewing reports on the movements of our enemies as well as overviewing all controlling aspects over our strategy and preparation."

[9:08 PM] bREWlager: "Well, I'd love to assist you if I'm able... Khlin is somewhat an area of expertise for me."

[9:21 PM] Amasuro: "Hmm...perhaps I could take you up on that offer, sir Leodin. How much do you know exactly on the military situation in Intetsu? We do have some spies going in and out of the city, surveying it, but I was curious as to what your opinion is. Say...when you used to live there. What was it like?"

[9:30 PM] bREWlager: "There were many large structures, normally houses or government buildings. There's also guards stationed at the wall that switch shifts every few hours." "At the center of the city is the main government building, called the Shishinden, and the closer you get to it, the tighter the security."

[9:36 PM] Amasuro: "Hmm, yes. We have reports of such a structure. It will likely be tough to crack, but we believe that killing the last remaining leaders of Khlin should be enough to destabalize the government..."

[9:37 PM] bREWlager: "Do you... have any plans about what to do after they leaders are taken out?"

[9:40 PM] Amasuro: "I prefer to keep that information to myself for now. We cannot risk...spreading too much of our plans. You understand, right?"

[9:40 PM] bREWlager: "Ah... I'm afraid I don't... Do you not trust me?"

[9:44 PM] Amasuro: "I trust you. It is just protocol."

[9:48 PM] bREWlager: "I apologize milady, but this is my home... I think I should at least know what will become of it if and when we succeed."

[9:55 PM] Amasuro: "Well, do not worry too much about it, sir Leodin. I assure you that your nation will still remain healthy once the operation is complete."

[9:55 PM] bREWlager: "I...I will make sure of it..."

[10:00 PM] Amasuro: "Good, good. I am glad to hear that." Ellis' face doesn't even appear to show significant emotion, as she continues with her work.

[10:02 PM] bREWlager: He waits in silence for a few moments before speaking up again. "Lady Ellis... I was wondering if you thought any more about what you told me... last time we met."

[10:03 PM] Amasuro: "You will have to refresh my memory. I am sorry that I do not quite recollect what you are speaking of."

[10:05 PM] bREWlager: "Milady... are you alright? I find it hard to believe you've forgotten..."

[10:07 PM] Amasuro: "Hmm?" Ellis paused, lifting her head for a moment, "...oh. Oh yes, you refer to that."

[10:08 PM] bREWlager: "So... you do remember?"

[10:10 PM] Amasuro: "Yes, I do. What did you want to know about my decision, again?"

[10:10 PM] bREWlager: "Have you... thought any more about it?"

[10:14 PM] Amasuro: "I have, and my decision remains the same. I am...very sorry, sir Leodin, but I am too preoccupied to be worrying about a relationship at this time as well."

[10:16 PM] bREWlager: "A-ah... of course... I understand completely. I'm sorry for bringing it up."

[10:18 PM] Amasuro: "Do not worry about it, sir Leodin. I understand that it is a matter weighing deeply on your mind. I am sorry that my response was not to your expectations."

[10:20 PM] bREWlager: "No, it is quite alright. You've been very busy lately, and it was wrong of me to bring up a matter as frivolous as that."

[10:20 PM] Amasuro: "Perhaps after it is all over..." She mumbles to herself as she returns to her work.

[10:21 PM] bREWlager: At least she seems hopeful... "Is there anything else I can help with, milady?"

[12:08 PM] Amasuro: "Not...exactly. Did you have nothing else to do today, sir Leodin?"

[12:16 PM] bREWlager: "Well, not exactly, milady... I came here because I wanted to see you."

[12:24 PM] Amasuro: "Ah...well, I am thankful for your company then. My sincerest apologies to you that I am unable to give you my full attention."

[12:25 PM] bREWlager: "That is no problem. I should not have come while you were busy..."

[12:27 PM] Amasuro: "As long as you recognize it..." Ellis continues working away on the sheets at her desk.

[12:43 PM] bREWlager: Leodin continues to watch as she completes her work, not wanting to interrupt her again.

[12:43 PM] Amasuro: "Perhaps it was poor of me to have invited you here while I was so busy. Maybe you can come visit me later when I am more free?"

[12:44 PM] bREWlager: "Oh? Yes, that would be great. When should I come see you?"

[12:46 PM] Amasuro: "I am uncertain of that. There is much work to be done before the siege begins."

[12:48 PM] bREWlager: "Yes, I suppose it's difficult to gauge how much work you have left... I'll just have to hope you're not busy when I return." He stands and smiles at her. "Goodbye, Lady Ellis, I shall see you soon." he says with a bow.

[12:49 PM] Amasuro: Ellis looks up from her work and nods towards him. "I hope so too. I will see you later, sir Leodin."

[12:51 PM] bREWlager: Leodin nods and leaves her room, heading towards the exit to the prison.
