[7:54 PM] Storm: Lorcan walked down the hallway away from the training area, cracking his knuckles several times. It was one of the few times that he was truly nervous. Ever since word broke out that Gallaran had declared war upon Freyzenwald, he had done his best to avoid the main bulk of the army. He was unsure how people would treat him for being a member of the Gallaran nobility. Hostile if not outright violent he thought for sure. If I can just get some information now that the barrier is down
Lorcan turned the corner down to his own room. It was close to dinner time, mostly everyone would be eating at the moment, so he didn't have to worry too much about encountering anyone he thought. So far he had done a decent enough job in the last day and half avoiding anyone.
[8:01 PM] Amasuro: Ahead of Lorcan, Luna turned her head towards him as he rounded the corner. Standing in front of his door, Luna became relieved as she finally found the man.
"Lorcan Abendroth! You're pretty hard to find, y'know?" She spoke, wheeling around on her heel to face Lorcan. Her hands clasped behind her back, with a wide smile on her face.
"If I didn't know better, I would think you have been avoiding me!"
[8:08 PM] Storm: Lorcan looked up from the floor and saw none other than Luna standing in front of his door. Shit. Of all people. Her. He feigned a smile, as he always did when confronting nobles, and straightened out his back.
"Queen Lunarea. What a surprise to see you at my door. I have just been busy this last day and a half. With the barrier down now all of a sudden, one cannot be too prepared to fight the horrors within your fallen city. That and spending my time in the infirmary, as my aide after all lies in a coma due to those wretched creatures. However, my apologies if it may seem like I was avoiding you. I did not intend it to come across as such. What is it that I may help you with?"
[8:13 PM] Amasuro: While her demeanor seemed relaxed on the outside, Luna remained wary of the Gallian noble in front of her, making sure to keep her distance. The clasped hands behind her back ever ready to unsheath the two daggers she always had on her body, in case he dared to try something in her castle.
"Nothing in particular, I was just curious as to what you'll be doing from now on. As I understand, a lot of our visitors have been trapped here in the city ever since that disaster struck."
She put a finger under her lip, "you could even, oh I don't know, return home if you wanted to."
[8:24 PM] Storm: Lorcan took a small step forward, taking off his leather gloves he had used during his quick training session. What is she after?
"Why do you say that?" Lorcan said, feigning ignorance, "I suppose I could go home, return to Gallaran. Perhaps even secure aid if that is what you will. However, as long as monsters plague your derelict city, how would it look upon a Gallaran noble to leave an ally stranded without aid?"
Lorcan narrowed his eyes taking a few more steps closer to the queen.
[8:34 PM] Amasuro: Luna swallows, trying to hide her discomfort as she took a step backwards.
"A very noble idea. From your actions these previous days, I don't doubt that you would act in such a way. However..."
Her eyes slowly increase in its seriousness.
"That was before your country declared war on ours."
[8:45 PM] Storm: Lorcan closed his eyes for a second in thought, before taking yet a few more steps towards Luna. His face returned to his normal stoic expression.
"As I expected. About that claim. I've heard the rumor. " he said, clenching his hands into fists. "I was going to come find you, ask about the validity of this accusation. To see the proof your scouts gave you, rather than blindly trust a statement. Furthermore, I had also intended to seek information of my own. To send a message to my brother about what is going on. But seeing as your city has been cut off from outside communication, my attempts fell short. Which begs the question, if I am unable to aquire information from outside the city, how was it your scouts managed to do what I could not?"
Lorcan took yet another step towards the queen, closer yet, looking down upon her. He outstretching his fist, turning it palm up at the last second.
"If I may enter my room?"
[8:59 PM] Amasuro: Luna crosses her arms, staring deeply at the man in front of her.
He doesn't strike me as lying, but...tch, anyone can be good at lying. Don't let him intimidate you.
"Forgive me if I'm a bit apprehensive in giving our scouting strategies to someone I don't fully trust at this moment. Whether or not our claims are vallidated or not, I would rather be safe and not have a known Gallian general in our midst when an army comes barreling down at our already weakened walls."
She takes a step backwards, letting Lorcan access his room.
"Don't think I'm not thankful that you aided in saving my life, but know that war right now would be completely disadvantagious for us."
[9:09 PM] Storm: "Is that what this is then? Being safe?" Lorcan entered his room, eyes darting around in search of one of his lances. If she intended to kill him, he'd do his best to ensure Freyzenwald would be under the rule of a child.
"Assessing the threat I possess if these accusations are in fact true?" He casually strolled into his room, tossing the gloves aside onto his neatly made bed. He walked in behind the privacy wall, taking off his shirt to change into a more formal attire. "If in fact what you say is true, and my country is at war with your own. You better run. If that barrier was your best defense, you never would have stood a chance. " Lorcan stepped out from behind the privacy wall, a lance within arm's reach. "So tell me, Queen Lunarea. What was the intended outcome of this ... meeting?"(edited)

[9:20 PM] Amasuro: Luna stepped backwards, leaning on a wall opposite the door to Lorcan's room.
Well, actually, we really don't stand a chance. Though, he doesn't need to know that.
"The intended outcome? Well, I believe you're quite a straightforward person. I just wanted to know one thing from you."
"Are you with us? Or against us?"
[9:31 PM] Storm: Lorcan remained motionless, staring Luna down. He was ready to defend himself if necessary.
"Why must it be so, black and white? " he said, feigning the smile from earlier, " I've met a few people in my brief time here. Interesting people to say the least. In all honesty I do not wish you harm, or them." Lorcan paused, stepping forward into the door frame, now holding onto a lance behind his back. "That said, I will not betray my country. If it is war they have declared I will lead my men into victory. But if I reach the Gallian border, and no army is there, you can be certain there will be a price to pay for such an allegation. Either way, if my answer has to be as crude as your question, I suppose that makes me against you"

[9:40 PM] Amasuro: "Hmph, seems like you're quite offended by my words. Lorcan, know that I trust my sisters word without question, and if she claims an army awaits at our borders, then I will be seeing you at the forefront of a Gallian army very soon."
...Though I should ask her how her scouts got through sometime. Ugh, stupid unconciousness makes me miss everything important.
"I don't wish you any harm either. It would be rather unrefined of me to strike down someone who gave so much to assist in my survival. Though, if the stories about you are right..."
She hid a grin behind her slender fingers,
"...I wouldn't dare try to attack you on my own."
[9:51 PM] Storm: "A ruler not questioning such vital information. Information that could very well lead to your own demise." Lorcan said with a genuine chuckle, bringing his lance into view of Luna now.
He backed into his room, grabbing a small satchel from the corner. The clothes he could leave. His armor was with his horse Shado. Mathias had woken this morning and was already in the stables. Lorcan knew he'd be leaving the castle tonight, but not under such circumstances.
"Well then, you wish me no harm, I wish you no harm. What say we just go our separate ways then, and I'll be seeing you soon enough? If what you say is true afterall." Lorcan tightened the grip on his lance.
[10:03 PM] Amasuro: She took another gulp, backing away as Lorcan revealed his lance.
"Fine. I have no problems with that," she spoke in an attempt to keep her calm attitude, "I suppose I may see your true powers on the battlefield soon enough, Lorcan."
[10:12 PM] Storm: "Good." Lorcan lowered the lance, yet mainting his grip. He slung the satchel over his shoulder and stepped into the hallway now.
"I suppose so. Untill we meet again" Lorcan gave one last look at Luna to try and read her intentions. Lance in hand, he walked down the hallway carefully in case she attempted to stab him in the back.
[10:18 PM] Amasuro: "Lorcan," Luna speaks to Lorcan after he had already passed her, "if my allegations are true, why would your nation declare war on us?"
[10:23 PM] Storm: Lorcan stopped at the corner of the hallway and turned to face Luna.
"I don't know. That's what I want to find out as well. My brother would have normally told me. But now I question him too. This situation, it makes no sense to me."
With that, Lorcan continued on his way to the stables to leave Freyzenwald for the time being.
[10:28 PM] Amasuro: Luna stood still in the vacated hallway. Her conversation with Lorcan clearing up none of her doubts.
Bastard. If...if those damn Gallian's did this to my city...ugh, then why would he help me? Damn, none of this makes sense.
She stared down the hallway, where Lorcan had just walked off. She really wasn't expecting such stern honesty from the man, but if his nation really was responsible for this entire disaster, she would hold nothing back against him.
Lorcan Abendroth, huh? Hmph, if your nation is truly responsible for the disappearance of my husband...we'll see who will be the one running.
