[7:04 PM] DiurnalKnight!: Yavae was in the infirmary after her sparring match with Milth, she felt that her wounds were fine by now but to be honest the bed here was pretty comfy so she was fine with resting for a bit
[7:55 PM] Sabanrab: Claire resumed her work in the infirmary, her appearances much more healthier than before after her first good night of sleep. Today, she was putting in that extra 120% into assisting the injured.
[7:56 PM] Sabanrab: "Yavae!" She said as she noticed the tribeswoman lying in the bed, "Are you alright?" She said as she carried a bucket of water with a smaller one filled with supplies
[7:58 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Hm? Of course I am, it's just some minor wounds." She grins, but has quite a few bandages
[7:59 PM] Sabanrab: "Alright...Do I need to replace any of them?"
[8:00 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Nah, I'll be fine. How have you been? I met that cute little boyfriend of yours, by the way."
[8:03 PM] Sabanrab: "Heh, did you?" She said, brushing her hair to the side as she blushed a little. "When?"
[8:05 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "A couple days ago, he seems nice. I warned him that if he ever breaks your heart I am willing to help you hide the body."
[8:07 PM] Sabanrab: She chuckles. "Oh he wouldn't...I know it"
[8:08 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Then he has nothing to be afraid of! Anything else happen?"
[8:10 PM] Sabanrab: "Hm...Nothing too big...Well there was the rescue raid yesterday. We were attacked by a Malig rider, which was pretty frightening, but aside from a few unfortunate losses, we didn't lose any ground."
[8:11 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Good. I have been training in the arena, I got to ride a manakete yesterday."
[8:13 PM] Sabanrab: "Er...what?"(edited)
[8:14 PM] Sabanrab: "The manakete was transformed into a dragon when you rode them, yes?"
[8:18 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Yes. Both times. Not when she rode me though."
[8:19 PM] Sabanrab: "Ah...both times?"
[8:20 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Yep. She was rather upset about it. Not about riding me though." She seems rather proud of the battle
[8:22 PM] Sabanrab: "I feel like you lead a very exciting life Yavae."
[8:23 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "I like to think it's been exciting recently. She's still somewhere around here I think."
[8:23 PM] Sabanrab: "The manakete?"
[8:24 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Mhm." She points to a tiny adorable girl in a the bed next to Yavae's
[8:26 PM] Sabanrab: "Oh!" Her voice hushes into a whisper. "We best not wake her."
[8:26 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Ha! She'a tougher than she looks, she's the reason I'm in here after all."
[8:27 PM] Sabanrab: "No matter how tough one is, everyone needs rest*
[8:28 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Yep, even adorable little dragon warriors."
[8:30 PM] Sabanrab: Another giggle. Rustling can be heard from another patient, Claire goes to check on them and then continues to aid the recovering people
[8:31 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Hm..? You're a medic?"
[8:31 PM] Sabanrab: "I've been helping out, I know some first aid."
[8:32 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Perhaps I should enlist Kaija's help..."
[8:33 PM] Sabanrab: "Oh, Kaija! I haven't seen her after the monsters appeared" She responded as she redoes a patient's bandage
[8:33 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "She keeps sneaking off, I'm a bit worried to be honest."
[8:34 PM] Sabanrab: "I would be too, any ideas on where she went?"
[8:36 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "I see her occasionally. She's probably sneaking off to shirk duties and do narcotics."
[8:37 PM] Sabanrab: "She does those? Aren't they dangerous? I remember them being illegal, where I grew up in at least."
[8:38 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "I have ordered her not to do any ones that are too dangerous."
[8:38 PM] Sabanrab: "I'm sure she'll respect your orders"
[8:41 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "I don't doubt it, she's been my loyal lady-in-waiting for many years."
[8:45 PM] Sabanrab: As she finishes reapplying the last bandage, she goes back to Yavae's bed to talk some more. "So what's it like? Being the princess of a tribe?"
[8:47 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Hm? Mostly boring, to be honest. Too many lessons."
[8:52 PM] Sabanrab: "Hah, Lessons on what?"
[8:55 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "The combat ones were fun, the ethics and honor ones were a bit tedious, the political ones made me want to find a sword and fall on it."
[8:58 PM] Sabanrab: "That sounds like the lessons they gave us in the knight acadamy"
[8:59 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "To be a leader one must know how to fight, know when to fight, and know why to fight. My father told me that a while ago."
[9:01 PM] Sabanrab: "Mhm." She said, nodding in agreement
[9:02 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Perhaps we can swap lessons one day."
[9:02 PM] Sabanrab: "Perhaps...except my lessons ended a while ago"
[9:05 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Not quite what I meant."
[9:06 PM] Sabanrab: "I know, I was kidding"
[9:07 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Ah. I am not the best with outsider humor."
[9:10 PM] Sabanrab: "That's fine, I tend to be a bit slow too."
[9:11 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Well, I should let you get back to work then."
[9:11 PM] Sabanrab: "And I should let you get back to resting." She stands up
[9:13 PM] DiurnalKnight!: "Ya, getting to rest for once is nice."
[9:14 PM] Sabanrab: "Well, rest well." She said as she made her way out.
