[7:44 PM] Abyssal Lord: ===Start of RP===
It has been sometime since the talk with Joshua about the people trapped in North Ward. Jean had been wandering around the Castle helping out in anyway he could. While he did his normal shenanigans he also couldn't get his mind off the people that could possibly still be trapped within North Ward with those things. His wyvern Angard sensing her master was distressed gave him a slight nudge which Jean happily accepted.
"Heh. Don't worry too much about me Angard. I'm fine. And plus...."
A certain dark blonde haired woman seemed to be walking towards him.
"Hello my dear and shining maiden. Claire is your name if I remember correctly. How do you do on such a beautiful day?"
"...I think I just found a good distraction." Jean went up to the woman and courteously bowed down to her.(edited)
[7:53 PM] Sabanrab: "Oh, Hello Jean! er, that's your name, right?" She said as she awkwardly returned the bow. She took his over the top compliments as nothing more than a normal greeting from him. All people say hello differently after all. "Heh, I haven't been outside that much, but it would appear so." She said as she shielded her eyes from the outdoors she had been not seen for a while. "What about you? How are you, and your wyvern, doing?"
[8:04 PM] Abyssal Lord: "Ah I'm doing fine I suppose. I could be doing better but I have nothing to complain about. Angard on the other hand is doing swimmingly." Jean scratched under Angard's neck and it happily shrieked with the attention. Jean was about to flirt when he remembered something he was meaning to ask her. About the monsters.
"By the way Claire. You're originally from Nohr if I remember correctly right?"
[8:05 PM] Sabanrab: "Yes, I am. Why do you ask?" She smiles as Angard shrieked
[8:10 PM] Abyssal Lord: I just wanted to ask about the monsters. I doubt that you would know anything but I wanted to knew anything about them considering the rumors flying around at times about the Nohrian Army creating Monsters using Dark Magic. I just thought that since you came from there you might've heard a rumor or two, anything will help really my lady."
[8:12 PM] Sabanrab: "Well..." She puts her hand on her chin, pondering for a moment. "I've heard of a few rumors, but I didn't think much of them, the rumors mentioned how the summoned monsters attack relentlessly, but I feel like the monsters we are facing are more, territorial? I guess that word best describes how I think of them."
[8:21 PM] Abyssal Lord: "That is correct. However perhaps these monsters were created differently perhaps made to be more territorial to box us in like this." Jean shook his head.
"But still I find it hard to believe that this is a Nohrian Attack. I think it's probably something else. But then again I should probably keep my silly little thoughts to myself." Jean sighed before flicking his hair back.
"But anyway thanks for the help. Would you like me to take you out to get something to eat? Or just spend some wonderful time together?
[8:23 PM] Sabanrab: "Well, I haven't eaten yet, why don't we head down to the mess hall?" She said a bit louder, trying to cover the sound of her stomach growling
[8:26 PM] Abyssal Lord: Jean smiled.
"Why yes of course the mess hall?" Jean hopped onto his black Wyvern as he patted the empty seat behind him.
"Would you like to fly with us as well Claire. I would say it'd be pretty amazing to fly high in the skies on the quest to get food!"
[8:27 PM] Sabanrab: "Er...well, actually, is it alright if we walk there?" She said, rubbing the back of her neck as she blushed in embarrassment. "I, uh, I'm kinda bad with riding mounts..."
[8:43 PM] Abyssal Lord: Jean laughed.
"Don't worry everyone is scared when it's their first time. Believe me I was terrified when I first flew as well believe it or not, but once your high and free in the sky it's a wonderful feeling!"
Jean went up and clasped on her Claire's hand.
"How about this! I'll promise you no harm will come to you and it'll be the experience of a lifetime! Won't you fly with me at least this one time?"
[8:46 PM] Sabanrab: "hrmm..." She appears nervous and reluctant. "Alright...I'll give it a shot..."
[8:53 PM] Abyssal Lord: Jean smiled as he placed Claire onto Angard's saddle before hopping on himself.
"Alright then Angard let's go!!!! Let's give Claire a memory she'll never forget!" Jean's mighty black wyvern let out a powerful shriek and it soared into the skies. It wasn't too far to the mess hall where Jean and Claire were so they wouldn't be have to spend too much time in the air. Jean called out to Claire.
"So how does it feel up here?"
[8:58 PM] Sabanrab: As they ascended, Claire let out her own shriek, which was probably drowned out by the wyvern.
Holding on tight with shaking hands, Claire fakes a smile. "F-feels great!" She replied with a tremoring voice.
[9:04 PM] Abyssal Lord: Jean couldn't help but laugh at the girl getting flustered reminding him of the first time that he flew on Angard.
"Don't worry we're basically there now!" Angard landed softly in front of the Mess Hall as not to frighten Claire too much. Jean quickly hopped off of Angard as he helped Claire get down.
"Heh. I know it was probably pretty scary up there but can't you at least admit it was fun just a bit?"
[9:06 PM] Sabanrab: As Claire hopped off the wyvern, her legs were shaking like that of a newborn fawn. Still wearing her fake smile. "Y-yeah! it-it was kinda fun."
[9:07 PM] Sabanrab: she said as she held back the urge to hurl
[9:12 PM] Abyssal Lord: Jean laughed again. It was pretty funny to see someone this way after only a minute or two of flying.
"Maybe we'll do it again one day. Maybe eventually you'll come around and like flying around. It would make me happy." Jean then looked at Claire still shaking.
"Hmmm. But first before we eat shouldn't you um.....take a breather or sit down for a bit? You don't want to be shaking like that while trying to eat your food."
Don't barf here please, don't barf here please....
[9:16 PM] Sabanrab: "Ye-yeah....just give me a minute." She leans against the wall as she sits against it. "Yeah, It would be hard to eat if I'm shaking like this, wouldn't it?" She reiterated under her breath(edited)
[9:21 PM] Sabanrab: After a bit, she got back up. "Sorry about that, shall we go eat now?"
[9:24 PM] Abyssal Lord: Jean smiled.
"Sure. I'm hungry myself. I haven't eaten in a while. Can't remember the last time I've eaten." Jean sighed as he furrowed his brow.
Man this whole North Ward thing has really gotten to me....(edited)
[9:25 PM] Sabanrab: "What?!" Suddenly surprised and concerned. "What do you mean? Have you not been eating?"
[9:29 PM] Abyssal Lord: Jean turned to her and gave a sheepish look.
"Ummm. Not really I've been too busy helping people around town and preparing for the raid. Guess I just happened to forget." Jean gave out slightly dishonest laugh.
Well that's most of the truth.....
[9:31 PM] Sabanrab: "Now that won't do! It's great that you're helping the people, but, you have to watch out for your health as well! Come on! We're gonna get you some food, now." She reached over and grabbed his hand and began to drag him into the mess hall
[9:34 PM] Abyssal Lord: "Huh? Agh!!! Wait!" Jean was surprised when Claire suddenly grabbed his hand. He quickly regained his cool and slick composure however.
"Um...what I mean is, If the doctor recommends it who am I to not follow her orders?" Jean smiled at her.
"So what should I eat to get healthier then? I do want to go back out there and see what I can do before long."
[9:36 PM] Sabanrab: "Well, at this point, anything will do, as long as you eat" She lectured as they walked inside.
"What were you thinking? Skipping your meals just to help people..."
[9:40 PM] Abyssal Lord: Jean sighed.
"Sometimes I just happen to forget you know. I just get so caught up with trying to do things I forget to do others." Jean grabbed a piece of bread.
"I've just been trying to pull my weight here you know. Prove that I'm more then just a flashy guy with no bite. Also I just love helping people. Considering it's what makes me feel happy. Other then Angard and women of course."
Jean took a bite out of the bread.
[9:43 PM] Sabanrab: Claire grabs more of the fruits and some extra bread, and then puts most of it on a plate that she then pushes onto Jean's arms. "I understand that sentiment, but, well, forgive me if this comes across as mean, but, what if you fall ill? what help could you be then?" She said as she began to take a bite out of an apple. After swallowing, "Just, make sure you keep yourself healthy, please?"
[9:58 PM] Abyssal Lord: Jean smiled. It was nice to see that Claire at least cared enough.
"Well thank you Claire. I'm happy that I have someone like you watching out for me."
He finishes up his bread.
"I need it considering how caught up I've been since all of this has happened. I haven't even been able to visit all the women of this place yet." Jean sat down on a table while taking a bite out of his own apple.
"But I'm happy I've been able to do what I can here. And it's been fun if you take out the monster attacks."
[10:03 PM] Sabanrab: "I guess, now that I thnk about it, there are some plus sides to this whole monster thing..."
[10:05 PM] Sabanrab: "I've noticed that people have been a lot more caring as of late, perhaps it's because we're in this horrid situation that people begin to take an interest in other's wellbeing."
[10:12 PM] Abyssal Lord: Jean sighed.
"Yep that's usually how it goes unfortunately. Horrible atrocities either bring out the best of people or the worst out of them." Jean took another bite of his apple.
"Though if this last for too long I could see things starting to fall apart. That's why I want to try and help finish this issue as soon as possible."
[10:13 PM] Sabanrab: "And that's how things fall apart, when people get too focused on a goal, they forget some of the important things, like their health." She gives him a stern look
[10:20 PM] Abyssal Lord: Jean gave a courteous smirk.
"Yes I suppose you are right on that. Perhaps I should allow myself some time of leisure. It will be hard for me though." Jean put the apple core back on his plate as he picked up another piece of bread.
"I'll try my best to remember that, I can give you that." Jean bit into his bread.
[10:23 PM] Sabanrab: "Good." Claire finished her apple and made short work of the rest of her meal
[10:27 PM] Abyssal Lord: Jean laughed.
"Well I'll give you this Claire, you seem to care a lot about people. There aren't many people like you out there you know." Jean finished his bread as he continued to eat the rest of his meal.
"Whatever man is lucky enough to have you is a lucky man indeed."
[10:31 PM] Sabanrab: "Oh stop it, there are indeed carning people out there, they aren't that rare yknow...but, thank you."
[10:39 PM] Abyssal Lord: "Heh. Guess you must've grown up a lot differently then I. Where I came from finding kindness like that in any form. That's a rarity that's even rarer then the most perfect of diamonds." Jean looked away from Claire not wanting to show any emotion.
I can't stay here and let her see me get all moody. I should probably take my leave now. Jean looked at Claire with a smile.
"Actually I completely forget! I was supposed to meet up with a girl named Youko soon! I completely forgot! You wouldn't mind me taking my leave right?"
[10:40 PM] Sabanrab: "No, not at all! Go quickly! you don't want to leave her waiting now do you!" She gestures for him to hurry.
[10:43 PM] Abyssal Lord: Jean courteously bowed to the woman and left the Mess Hall. He quickly hopped onto Angard and flew around the town.
"Sigh that was a close one. I almost shed a tear. That girl Claire. She's a true treasure that one. I truly hope others don't take her kindness for granted." And with that Jean was off in search of more things to do.
