[AG1] Maybe Start a Family

Featuring: Vivianna, Akira

[10:18 AM] M I K A: Vivianna sits, watching the clouds as she waits for the bread to cool. It had been very hard to make this bread in such terrible circumstances but having made it, she was happy it turned out alright. The smell of fresh bread fills the air as she begins to sing..singing was all she could do now.. "~A thousand years gone by Too late to wonder why I'm here alone If in my darkest hour She rose that fell a flower I should have known..~"

[10:27 AM] Psychic Loser: Going about on his usual walk around the base, Akria took a seat beside his Pegasus, Kaguya and withdrew an apple from his robe.

[10:41 AM] Psychic Loser: "So," He looked up to Kaguya, The horse tilted its head in response, "Sure. You earned it today girl." It was then, as he went to hand Kaguya the apple, when he heard a voice. Singing and the sent of some baked good. "Odd. I don't recall anyone living nearby." He grabbed Kaguya's lead and tied her to a tree. "Stay here. I will be right back."

[10:42 AM] M I K A: She nibbles on the bread. "Ah I should have added more sugar..a butter." She sighs and hums.

[10:53 AM] Psychic Loser: As Akira moved forward, investigating the origin of the singing and baked goods, he saw a woman. His shoes crunched against the crisp grass as he came closer to the stranger. "Excuse me miss but, what would you be doing out in these woods?"

[10:54 AM] M I K A: She jumps and looks up. "Huh!..Oh..hello sir..um I'm just..having my lunch."

[11:04 AM] Psychic Loser: Akira tugged on his left arm guard, making sure it was secure. "Well, miss. You are in the way of my rounds. I'm going to have to report you to an officer." He paused, "That is unless you can give me a proper reason as to why you are out here."

[11:06 AM] M I K A: She looks at him. "Officer? Are you part of the rebellion too?"

[11:09 AM] Psychic Loser: "I am." Akira brought his hand to his face, "This is why we need uniforms."

[11:10 AM] M I K A: "I don't think so, uniforms would feel weird..ah but I've never seen you before..but then I don't talk to many of the soldiers in the army."

[11:22 AM] Psychic Loser: "Akira." He responded. He then pointed to a winged horse tied to a tree munching on an apple, "That over there is Kaguya. Wait a-" Akira gave himself a pat-down. "That's my apple you thieving horse!"

[11:25 AM] M I K A: She gasp and gets up, running over to the horse. "I-Is she..a r-real..!"

[11:31 AM] Psychic Loser: Akira followed after the woman. "Yes. Be careful with her. She also might take your food."

[11:34 AM] M I K A: She smiles and coos at her, offering the fresh bread. "She's beautiful.."

[11:42 AM] Psychic Loser: The stern look an Akira's face softened. He smiled, "She can be." He looked at the bread given to Kaguya, "Don't give her too much, she's already spoiled enough."

[11:43 AM] M I K A: She hugs the horse, singing softly to her. "I've always wanted to see one."

[11:57 AM] Psychic Loser: "Careful now. " Kaguya's nostrils flared, "Oh quite you. No apples for you on our next round." Akira turned to the woman, "Well Kaguya seems fine with you. What did you say your name was?"

[12:00 PM] M I K A: "Vivianna! You can call Vivi." She giggles. "How long have you known her?"

[12:07 PM] Psychic Loser: "Roughly two years. That makes her," Akira patted the Pegasus's head, "about 6 six years old."

[12:08 PM] M I K A: "6 already..she looks so young. Ah it would be cool to see her and Shimi together..what a contrast."

[12:15 PM] Psychic Loser: Akira nodded, "Well, that's my roughest estimate. Most horses are ready to run by the age of 4. And I take it this Shimi is a horse you own?" Akira asked.

[12:15 PM] M I K A: "Oh no..it's a falicorn that's also in the army."

[12:25 PM] Psychic Loser: Akira nodded, "Ah." He smiled, "I'm sure there would be quite the contrast, seeing how Kaguya here isn't really built for being a warhorse."

[12:29 PM] M I K A: "I can tell she's so different...them Shimi..why did you bring her into the army then?"

[12:33 PM] Psychic Loser: "Well, I saved her from the nobles." Akira paused. "She's also the last horse I own."(edited)

[12:34 PM] M I K A: "Oh but..aren't you scared..she might not fair well in all this?"

[12:43 PM] Psychic Loser: Akira looked down, "Of course I do. I do everyday we're out in that hell. Kaguya's all I've got left though and I don't trust her in the hands of anybody else."

[12:59 PM] M I K A: She nods. "Then I'm sure you two will make it out fine."

[1:12 PM] Psychic Loser: Akira nodded likewise, "I sure hope so. I hope we all do. They hand out a lot worse than marks for treason." Akira tugged on his left arm-guard once more.

[1:19 PM] M I K A: She shivers. "Why are you fighting?"

[1:36 PM] Psychic Loser: Akira let out a sigh, "The Oligarchy destroyed my livelihood. Burned my stable and house down. They marked me for a criminal and I mean that in the most literal way possible, all over a few late taxes." He rolled up part of his left sleeve revealing a sprawl of symbols that went all the way down to his fingers. "I'm not fighting for revenge though. Only a child fights over getting even. I don't want anyone to be unjustly punished like I have. That's why I'm here."(edited)

[1:37 PM] M I K A: "Oh wow..I had no idea it was this bad..I mean I heard from Leodin that it was bad but..seems everyone has a reason to fight..m-maybe I should have left.."

[1:52 PM] Psychic Loser: Akira let his sleeve roll down. "I'm sorry I dumped that weight on you." Akira mentally kicked himself. "You don't need some great, noble reason to fight. At the end of the day, all that matters is what you believe."

[1:53 PM] M I K A: "No no I don't mind when people tell me that..it makes me what to fight on..I just feel bad because the only reason I fight..is friendship..I really...don't think this rebellion is a good idea."

[2:02 PM] Psychic Loser: "Fair. I don't agree with the rebellion either. I just want the corruption and injustice to stop."

[2:07 PM] M I K A: "I feel everyone does..but..I'm scared this is the wrong way to do it."

[2:17 PM] Psychic Loser: "It's one way or the other. But, I don't think the rulers of Khlin are one to negotiate." Akira looked back to Kaguya.

[2:18 PM] M I K A: "Yes but..is it right to kill them?"

[2:28 PM] Psychic Loser: "Depends. I'm a solider now. If someone where to kill me here. I could care less. I signed up despite the risk. As for the rulers, they might be killed but, personally I think exile is the better choice. Let them live with their mistakes."(edited)

[2:31 PM] M I K A: "That makes sense but..I fear most want them dead..I..I can't kill people like me..what about those whole rule who were good..or tried to do good..what will happen to them."

[2:39 PM] Psychic Loser: "I have no clue. I'd like to imagine that they'd be fine. I don't know what the Rebellion's leaders have in mind though. I just hope it's something I can live with."

[2:53 PM] M I K A: "...Me to..I can't be a mother with guilt weighing so deep on my heart."

[3:00 PM] Psychic Loser: "You have children? Lucky you, I don't have much to go back to after this."

[3:14 PM] M I K A: "Oh..I have one with me right now." She touches her stomach. "He's my first."

[3:23 PM] Psychic Loser: Akira took a step back, "Your pregnant! How did they even allow you to be in the army like that?"

[3:24 PM] M I K A: "I..I..well I got pregnant awhile into this whole thing..so when I joined I wasn't." She giggles. "Everyone reacts that way..is it that shocking?"

[3:36 PM] Psychic Loser: Akira brought his hand to his face. "Well you see, either you could die because of the kid or you could die because of it." He shook his head, "I guess you'll be fine if you don't get hit."

[3:40 PM] M I K A: She nods. "I've been careful. I want to survive and have this child."

[3:49 PM] Psychic Loser: "I would hope so. Gods!" He shook his head again.

[3:51 PM] M I K A: She smiles. "So..you don't have any place to go back to?"

[3:58 PM] Psychic Loser: "No. No brothers. No sisters. All I have left for me back at my town is a few experiences with alcohol; I'd rather not share. My parents slowly aging away. It's a sad sight I'd rather not see. Besides we'd have to pass my stable to get back there."(edited)

[4:03 PM] M I K A: "Wow..thats..what are you going to do after all this then?"

[4:14 PM] Psychic Loser: "Depending on how this all ends and how long it last," He looked down at the ground,"I'd like to start another horse stable. And somebody's going to laugh at me for this but...maybe start a family. Maybe."(edited)

[4:22 PM] M I K A: "No..t-thats what I kinda wanna do as well..I want to start a bakery and..ranch. And..my dream is to have a loving family." She feels a few tears fall.

[4:57 PM] Psychic Loser: "Great." Akira looked over his shoulder. "I made her cry."

[5:02 PM] M I K A: "N-No..I'm just being too sensitive. Me and the baby's father..just separated..The idea of family makes me feel bittersweet."

[5:44 PM] Psychic Loser: "Fair. I guess everyone has their own touchy subject." Akira untied and mounted Kaguya, "Well, I'm going to head back to the fort. I wish you luck." Kaguya stretched her wings, forcing the surrounding grass and trees to flutter, despite the lack of wind. Both horse and rider disappeared into the horizon.

[5:46 PM] M I K A: She sighs..it seems no one cared about her any more. "I'm glad you hear Paris, else I would have throw myself off a cliff..." She breaks down and sobs, knowing she wouldnt be back tonight.
