[10:14 PM] Star Guardian Mika: Vivianna hums as she spreads out the small blanket. She hoped she had made a meal that he would like but even if he didn't, she's sure someone would.
[10:19 PM] Nessbrawl: Jean flies through the sky with Angard trying to find the Pink-Haired Woman. He hadn't seen the woman since he last danced with her. Eventually he found the girl on a blanket as he landed near her.
"Ah Vivianna it's very nice to see you again and you're looking as radiant as ever it seems."
[10:23 PM] Star Guardian Mika: "Speak normal with me ok." She opens the basket. "But I'm happy to see you again too and Angard too." She waves to them, before stand and hugging Angard. "How are you girl?"
[10:26 PM] Nessbrawl: Angard shrieked in delight at the attention she was getting as Angard attempted to lick Vivianna. Jean sighed.
What she means is for me to speak abnormally huh? Ugggggh let's see if I can actually do this.... Jean bit his lip.
"Ah yeah Angard's happy to um....see you too...Vivianna?" Jean winced at the awkwardness of what he said. "I'm sorry. I'm not good at this whole talking normal thing..."
[10:30 PM] Star Guardian Mika: She giggles, letting her lick her face. "I think you're doing fine, I just can't stand that flowery speak..reminds me of the stuck up noble boys I grew up with. Please though, if you're more comfortable talking the other way, then I don't mind." She sits.
[10:33 PM] Nessbrawl: Jean sits after her. "No no. It'll be a good exercise for me to talk like this. Will probably make me less annoying when I have to work with others." He looked towards the sky. "And I can understand your problems with the stuck-up nobles. Many of them are quite annoying. I should know I lived my life around them. But enough about that. What did you bring for the picnic?"
[10:38 PM] Star Guardian Mika: "Well I brought some Raspberry Lemonade, Watermelon and Cucumber Salad, Roast Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Eggplant Dip with veggies to eat it with, and some Cherry Hand Pies."
[10:40 PM] Nessbrawl: "Ah! That sounds great. Seems like you put a lot of effort into this!" Jean looked into the sky again. "So how are you and Sula doing? Did you finally make it official?" Jean smiled at Vivianna.
[10:42 PM] Star Guardian Mika: "Hmm why do you want to know?" She nibbles on a small pie.
[10:44 PM] Nessbrawl: "Nothing just interested. I could tell that the two of you were interested in each other that's all. Just asking for curiosity's sake." Jean took a nibble on his on pie as he also gave a piece to Angard.
[10:47 PM] Star Guardian Mika: "Then yeah we are together..in fact we went on a date." She laughs. "My first ever date.
[10:50 PM] Nessbrawl: "Haha. Really?" Jean finished up with his pie. "I'm surprised. It must have been quite the fun experience then. One of the most memorable things someone has is their first date."
[11:11 PM] Star Guardian Mika: "What was your first date like Jean?"
[11:36 PM] Nessbrawl: "Would it be bad if I said I couldn't remember...." Jean scratched the back of his head. "Like I...I really can't remember what it was like. Can't even remember the girl's name...or face...." Jean sighed. "I'm much more of just a flirty guy then a guy who can actually have any kind of substantial and stable relationship." Jean sighed once again as he ate some of the Roast Chicken Salad."
[11:38 PM] Star Guardian Mika: "I find that a little sad. Aren't you ever lonely? Never being able to get close to someone..."
[11:39 PM] Nessbrawl: "Hmmm. It doesn't really make me too sad. I always have Angard at my side and if it would be anything like my parents I don't want to ever be that close and vulnerable to someone..." Jean bit his lip not wanting to get too emotional.
[11:43 PM] Star Guardian Mika: "You won't turn out like them...just like I won't turn out like mine, I'm doing my best to never become my mother and I'm sure you are doing you best too. Being in love is a gift Jean.." She gives him a soft smile. "It's a gift that I hope you get to get one day.."
[11:46 PM] Nessbrawl: Jean smiled at the woman. "Ah I doubt I'll ever find it anywhere. But perhaps maybe one day through some weird accident I will find a girl I will love." Jean sighed yet again. "But you're right love is a gift. And nothing makes me happier then seeing two people truly in love with each other. That's why I was so happy to see you and Sula together. Stuff like that to me is so amazing...." Jean started to eat another pie.
[11:49 PM] Star Guardian Mika: "You are a lot like me...I thought that way for a long time..hell I sometimes still think that way but Jean, I'm sure you would have no trouble falling in love..in fact...when you fall, it will be more then wonderful." She smiles and switches out the pie with some veggies. "Don't just eat the pies silly."
[11:54 PM] Nessbrawl: "Oh I won't don't worry." Jean grabbed some of the vegetables and put it in the dip before eating it. Meanwhile he truly pondered on the words that Vivianna had spoken to him. Perhaps he could actually one day truly find love. He shook his head. No I'll never get that lucky. I just know if I ever got into a relationship I would ruin it one way or another. He stopped thinking to himself as he continued to eat some of the vegetables. "This is really good Vivianna. You sure do have a way with food."
[11:58 PM] Star Guardian Mika: "So I've heard..it wasn't always like this either..for a long time I wasn't aloud in the kitchen as that was a place for the servents..ah but I never did listen to my parents much about things I wanted to do."
[12:00 AM] Nessbrawl: "Oh really?" Jean said with interest. "Our kitchen was also a place for servants. But in my case I was always in my room. I hated going out into the house and seeing my parents argue. My room was the only safe place for me. The only place where I had a smidgen of peace." Jean ate some more of the vegetables.
[12:01 AM] Star Guardian Mika: "Fight..seems nobles never wed for love. How terrible." She sighs.
[12:08 AM] Nessbrawl: "Yeah. It is rather unfortunate." Jean sighed. "But it's how it goes in noble circles I guess. It's why I'm glad to be out of it. The noble circle is just full of backstabbers and liars and barely any good souls. It's a good thing people like you can come out of the filth Vivianna." Jean pondered for a bit. "I'm sorry I might have been too critical there...."
[12:10 AM] Star Guardian Mika: She grins "it wasnt, I very much agree...you know I have a feeling that had we grown up together our parents would arrange a marriage. My mother was already looking for males who liked old women like me."
[12:13 AM] Nessbrawl: "Heh perhaps. I never really knew if my parents would've arranged a marriage for me if I stayed at home. To them most of the time I was pretty invisible. But I wouldn't be surprised if they did that." Jean ran through his hair. "But I wouldn't be surprised."
[12:17 AM] Star Guardian Mika: "I wouldn't have minded...I think it would have turned out well enough...I think I would have grown to love you." She grins
[12:21 AM] Nessbrawl: "Huh. Really?" Jean smiles back. "I hear similar compliments all the time but this is the first time I've felt anything from words like those." Jean shook his head. "But still right now your heart belongs to another and that's okay with me. Eventually, one day I'll find someone to love." Jean finished up the last of the veggies. "Thank you Vivianna for such a lovely picnic."
[12:26 AM] Star Guardian Mika: She smiles back. "Call me vivi, all my friends do. I believe you will find love one day I truly do. You're welcome Jean."
[12:31 AM] Nessbrawl: "All right then....Vivi. I like the sound of that...." Jean got onto Angard as he waved goodbye to Vivianna. "I must go now Vivi. But believe me we will see each other again. That's a promise." Jean waved to the Pink-Haired Woman. "So goodbye for now."
[12:32 AM] Star Guardian Mika: "Goodbye Jean." She starts to clean up.
